Nice selection of assorted things. They have ½ off sales pretty frequently, where you can find various furniture, etc. for literal pennies. 2⁄2 times I have made a purchase, once for $ 15 and once for 15 cents.

A typical Salvation Army–
1. Lots of clothing, with minimal sorting. Be prepared to dig.
2. Quality varies widely– check carefully for stains or small holes.
3. Great prices– kids clothes 0 – 12 months= $ 1, 12 months+= $ 2 per piece…
4. small selection of well-​priced home items– great for DIYers
If you aren’t looking for something specific and you don’t mind digging a bit, you can find some great deals. I got my daughter a Gap brand shirt for the fall that’s in excellent condition. $ 2. Can’t beat it.
