Shortly after the completion of his surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, Dr. Hoffrichter opened his practice in Frederick, Maryland. He has been practicing here since 2001.

Business Owner

A native of suburban Philadelphia, Dr. Hoffrichter completed his bachelors degree at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors in 1991. After finishing his four years of dental training at the New York University College of Dentistry in 1995, he continued on to pursue specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, and surrounding area hospitals. Upon completion of his residency in 1999, Dr. Hoffrichter moved to Newport, Rhode Island, to accept an associate position in private practice. In late 2000, he moved back to Maryland, where he lives in Frederick County with his wife, Barri, their children, Andie and Adam, their cat, Freddy, and their tortoise, Lucy.

A native speaker of English, Dr. Hoffrichter is also fluent in Spanish and American Sign Language.
