It’s so nice to still find quality businesses like Edgeworks. I discovered the shop a few months ago. The prices are often lower than Amazon and they have a great selection of knives from inexpensive swiss army knives to high-end custom knives. I have been back many times and continue to look forward to shopping

Awesome shop in downtown Frederick! I stopped by one morning after Unilocal had an article on Zombie Apocalypse so I thought«hey, better to be safe than sorry…» I’ve been in here a couple times before but never felt the need to buy anything, but once I had a need… This store became a treasure. Hundreds amongst hundreds of choices in weapons, knives particularly. Everything seems to he decently priced, the guy who helped me make a choice on which knife I wanted was so helpful. He answered all my questions on what material each knife I was Interested in was made of and how to care for my knives. They also offer a decent variety of camping gear, Samurai swords, darts, etc.

Great selection of knives — there are a lot to choose from, and they’re all high quality brands — something that’s not very common in shops nowadays. Staff is also friendly and very, very knowledgeable about their blades. I like seeing that!

I don’t usually go into knife stores but when I do I come here. This place has a variety of knives along with puzzles(I am puzzled to how this fits). The staff seems to know their material as the other day the one attendant was ranting and raving about knife nerdiness that was over my head. I enjoyed walking around the place and just seeing the quality of knives. Their puzzles are also pretty cool. If you are walking by then I would recommend walking in even if you aren’t planning to buy a knife. A good place to educate yourself on what a sharp and good knife looks like.

Normally I don”t hang out at knife shops, but my trusty Victorinox(Swiss Army knife) needed service, so I had to hit them up. They replaced a missing toothpick(which I subsequently lost a month later) repaired there scissors, oiled and lubed up the joints and cleaned the blades for under ten bucks, so I love this place. I had expected the service to cost half the price of the knife. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the store has a lot of things aside from knives to sell you. They eve have children stuff too like kid’s knives and dartboards. So go there for all your dartboard needs.

Surprisingly large store that sells puzzels, knives, and darts. Confused by this combo of merch? Yeah me too! But the staff were super friendly and spent nearly 30 minutes talking to my father in law about various pocket knives(he loves them). Personally, not my thing, but they sounded super knowledgeable, and made my father in law pretty happy. Guess I know what I’m getting him for Xmas this year!

I just want to say that this store is really cool. It’s an eclectic mix of knives(LOTS of knives — of all kinds), puzzles, and kitchen products. You should definitely stop by!

Puzzles, puzzle glue(for 2 – 1,000 piece puzzles, seriously?!), real dart boards, and knives of all kinds. From hunting knives and Swiss Army utility knives to Wusthofs, if you can think of a particular blade, they probably have it, or something similar to it. A little bit of fun, and a –whole– lotta business. The staff seems friendly, greeting me as I wandered around the store ogling the pretty shiny sharp implements. Oh, what damage I could do here if I had a budget for nice blades. I think I need a cold shower just thinking about those glittery santokus…
