History
Established in 2006.
Steve and Arleen Chafitz, e-End’s co-founders, have a long history with electronics and communications. In the early 1970s they established Chafitz Electronics in Rockville, Maryland, which became one of the nation’s leading retailers and consumer electronics fulfillment organizations. The company was one of the first to introduce many of the earliest consumer products that used integrated circuits.
e-End was founded when Steve and Arleen recognized the importance of good environmental stewardship in managing and recycling the «end-of-life» stages of electronic products, many of which they helped introduce to the market. In the years since its founding, e-End has developed a robust data security business by sanitizing virtually any type of data storage media to meet the requirements of the most demanding clients.
