I brought in a pair of heels for repair. The sides had come apart, and needed to be re-glued. He inspected my shoes, and told me it would cost $ 18 dollars. I paid, and he gave me a claim ticket and circled«Tuesday», the next week, in which they would be ready. I returned the following week, on the day after they were scheduled to be ready, on Wednesday. When I gave him my claim ticket, he spent a significant amount of time rummaging around in shoes to try to find mine. I told him what they looked like. After almost 5 minutes, he found them, at the bottom of a pile behind the front desk. He looked at me and said«30 minutes». I said«what?», and then he said«you wait, thirty minutes.» I said«I am sorry, but I have to get back to work.» He looked at me, and it was obvious that the shoes were not done, and had probably been in the pile since I dropped them off for repair the prior week. I told him I’d be back either tomorrow or the next day. He did not apologize, he did not offer any explanation for them not being done. I returned the next day, and he gave them to me without any comments. Again, no apology for the delay, or apology for me having to make two trips downtown to retrieve them. No «here’s a discount for next time, for your trouble.» Very poor customer service, and I will not be a returning customer.
