History

Established in 2013.

After working with the Active Learning Center for several months, owners Oliver and Debbie Mi Luo purchased the childcare center and began serving the Franklin community through the school with a completely new philosophy of preschool education. The Sunshine Academy, as it is now known today, was established and remodeled in Oct. 2013 and exists to assist parents in loving, developing and teaching children in a safe, nurturing environment at the 100 Westwind Court, Franklin, TN location. With a low teacher/​student ratio, experienced, professional teachers, and the child-​friendly Montessori educational environment, The Sunshine Academy provides systematic socialization and skills that will prepare students for success in life.

Owner/​operator on site daily to ensure continuity of care and support. With a background in engineering and science, my wife and I are highly involved with our students’ education and cultural development, and it is important to us that they also enjoy what they are doing here at The Sunshine Academy!
