The Iron Gate is an interiors store in the heart of Franklin, TN, specializing in beautiful furniture, accessories, custom work, gifts, lighting and antiques.
Loved store, candles are amazing! Interesting objects of desire! Loved the giant clock art piece! Bought 2 candles! Will be back. Minus 1 star for closing at 5PM on Saturday. During summer months people like to stroll in the evening.

Pretty & pricey. I saw a gorgeous silk & velvet«personal» quilt and then saw the price tag. Whew. But then I was pleasantly surprised that there were some affordable items. The bedding, especially the canopy up front, is like a fantasy world… or a movie set, very inspiring. I regret that I didn’t buy any of the ant sculptures that I saw there…

Downtown Franklin walking and this drew my girlfriend’s eye that she and by that I mean we had to come in and browse. A lot of the items were eh to just amazing and of course the price was similarly eh to amazing. My girlfriend was entranced with it and after wandering around a little the two people behind the counter struck a conversation with us and after finding out it was a our first time in Franklin let us know some of the high points to see as well as the history of the area. We didn’t buy anything but it was a pleasure to be in the store, browse and have the staff be friendly and open.

The Iron Gate has a large and wide selection of home decoration items. There are some earthy elements that would complement a lot of styles, such as a selection of corals, stones, and earth works. Small animal hides are available too. OK, well not too small. I’m not talking chipmunk or anything like that. I think they were deer, or veal calf or something like that. On the less earthy end, they had a selection of Roger and Gallet items that were more on the contemporary end.
