Went in there a few times. The first time I got the unlimited soap and salad. It was good! But last few times the soup was very runny(supposed to be a thick potato soap!) and the salad was just ok. Will not be back again.

It’s an O’Charley’s. You know what you’re getting with the food. Service at this particular outlet is really bad, too many people and too few staff. The managers try to intervene and help staff when they are overwhelmed, but they are always overwhelmed and it takes forever to get the chance to order, get your appetizers, and get your check when the meal is over. If you want a chain restaurant with American fare, there are many better options in Franklin.

Love their yeast rolls. I was having some nausea problems and was loosing a lot of weight and the only thing I could eat was their rolls . I would eat them as my meal some days

Hit or miss. I just got home with the Louisiana sirloin for takeout and ordered medium well. It’s medium rare and inedible for me.

There is no hospitality like Eddie’s! He kept me coming back to this OCharleys every week for a year. #OCTheLittleThings #214

The food was not good and the service was slow. It seemed as though two managers were up at the bar. I hope to try again and see if I have a better experience.

Much improved since remodel. If a wait-go to bar area. Open seating. Staff pleasant. Food is good.

I enjoy coming here, they environment is laid back and the food is good. Bringing my family here is not a stress on my budget and the service is always friendly. I gave them 4 stars out of 5 because at times they are not as attentive as they should be to refill drinks or small things like that but overall a great place!

Horrible service when I’ve tried to order to-go! I was quoted 30 minutes and I didn’t get my food in hand for an hour and 15 minutes. Same happened 2 weeks ago. Never again!

Just like any other location I have been to, the food has always been delicious. The server that waited on our table(which was a big group) was nice and always made sure to keep our drinks refilled, and always brought out extra rolls when we ran out. The location has been renovated, and it looks fantastic! I will continue to eat here!

I love this O’Charles! I’ve never had any food issues, it always comes out right and the staff is awesome. The other day, my friend made a comment that we should have a sign that the table was reserved for us… and the Manager walked out with a sign with our names on it! LMAO !

Literally smelled and tasted like Feces. We order the prime rib for 2, and immediately upon having it placed onto our table, we knew something was a miss. I took the test-bite, and that was it. Within moments the manager was at our table, and before we could complain, he complained for us. He knew something was wrong before the plates left the kitchen, but let them leave regardless. He offered to replace the dishes with something else, at which point I ordered mac n’ cheese, and she shrimp scampi. My mac n’ cheese was cold, while her plate was fine. The manager never returned to our table to follow-up with us, and then subsequently comped our entire meal. First, I never want anything free; especially when I do not like it, such as food. I want to complain about it, and then pay for it, so you know I’m making a valid complaint, and not just chasing a free meal. This used to be our favorite go to local restaurant, but no more. Neither of us had cash, so we drove to the ATM, so that we could at least get some, and tip the waitress. Horrible, horrible, experience and I would not suggest nor any longer recommend this establishment.

Once while waiting in the lobby, a waitress spilled an entire tray of drinks on my father. The restaurant and waitress truly did everything in their power to make it right.(Offered a free meal, offered to have his clothes professionally cleaned, etc.!) We always receive great service here!

Sunday Bunching solo is not always what it’s cracked up to be. What fun is a brunch when you can’t share the food with a bunch of your friends and get a little Sunday afternoon buzz on! Then everyone allowing you to sample their menu selections? In this case, my meal was so hearty, I would not have had room to try anyone’s food, so my party of one system worked on this Sunday. I cozied up to the bar and ordered a Bloodymary. A drink I have rarely partaken in, but for some reason the idea of one made my liver and mouth very happy. And a great version of a Bloodymary it was(as far as I know as there is nothing in my past to which I can compare it). The brunch menu had some great, reasonably priced options and I was stuck between the«Eggs Benedict» and«The Overloaded Brunch Platter». With the aid of my bartender’s great knowledge of the menu I opted for the latter. A mound of food arrived in front of me so daunting, my cardiologist would have removed me from my seat post haste. Where to start…2 eggs any style(my were over medium, just right) 3 strip of bacon,(cooked just perfect), 1 med rare steak, a heep of parmesan cottage fries, ½ of a waffle with maple syrup and to ease the impending food guilt, the plate was garnished with fresh fruit. O’ ya and a big basket of fresh hot yeast roll(with a side of honey!) The service was fantastic. This is an excellent place for comfort food enriched brunch solo or otherwise. I’ll be back, with friends next time!!!

First time back since the big renovation, everything looks great. Food was fantastic, I had the black and blue salad and it was super good. Prices were ok also and will definately go back.

wow, i am honestly shocked to see how many positive reviews there are for this place… maybe they had awesome luck, or just have begun to accept mediocrity – actually less than, for the norm. i’ve never had a good experience at an o’charleys, so i feel safe to assume that my experience at this one is not unique. my husband and i went on friday, march 22, for dinner(on his lunch break – he was working a late shift). we were immediately seated, and there were plenty of open tables so they were not in a lunch rush at that point. we sat at our table for 7 minutes(we looked at our watch when we sat down because we knew we had limited time and he might have to leave early before me…) before we were greeted. i’ve worked as a server before, and we had a minute(for the absolute max) rule for greeting a table – if you weren’t around, another server would at least pass by and say hi and tell you that your server was on their way-but here, we sat, and sat, and sat, and sat with no acknowledgement, no «have you been greeted yet», not anything. we were finally greeted, and placed our order. i had the tilapia – which was very dry – as if it had been over microwaved, which is probably how they cooked it. my husband had some chicken dish, and it wasn’t that impressive either. also, his cup was empty for at least 10 minutes, and was only replaced when the manager came by after our food was delivered to ask how things were, and we told him he needed another drink and something we had requested as an accompaniment was missing from our meal. the mgr brought back a refill and our other accompaniment after that. on the plus side, it was inexpensive, and the mgr seemed very concerned with his restaurant-as we saw him visit each table post meal delivery to check on them. i’d rather spend the extra money and go to a place where there is a focus on service and good food – it’s just not worth it settling for a disappointing experience because you are on a time crunch. the two star rating i gave was two stars, as opposed to one, because the manager tried to ensure a personal greeting for each customer.

We order curbside to-go from here often, especially in the warmer months for salads. Edward is still there for to go, but only on weekend nights now as he took a job with corporate — he is awesome. We went inside recently because hubby wanted to see the major remodel where they were closed for like two weeks. The inside is kind of Cracker Barrel meets Ruby Tuesday now — nothing that bothers me, but just seems to be lacking a true identity. The menu is the same with a few new offerings… there’s nothing especially exciting about an O’ Charleys’ dinner. I think of them as what Shoney’s was for my family when I was growing up — I dare not venture into a Shoney’s now. Hubby enjoys their chicken tenders — a safe, reliable choice for sure. I tried the chicken pot pie and it was OK, I wasn’t especially hungry and truthfully didn’t really want to be there. I brought half of it home. I am very garlic-sensitive, and while I didn’t taste any garlic in the pot pie at the time — I experienced stomach woes that night that leads to me to believe there was garlic in it. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident and not indicative of any new cooking philosophy.

Been a bit since I ate at one of these joints. ;) Friendly door greeters, food is always VERY good, drinks are yummy… and their broccoli here is perfection! I could eat a bowl of that! Tilapia is great! Chicken fingers are yummy with the honey mustard and the tuscan chicken is amazing as well. Our hunk of a waiter was fast, nice, and quick to help in any way! Never a issue with parking and the bar always has the latest games on! Oh, it always runs cold here so bring a sweater)
