History

Established in 2007.

~*~How It All Got Started…~*~

The Idea for Moonlight Potions & Lotions came from my daughter-​in-​law who has a difficult time using most bath & body products on the market. In order to attempt to give her, and others like her (including myself), a means of hopefully enjoying luxurious showers with body scrubs, baths with salts and fizzing waters, «Potions & Lotions» came about.

Of Course, the name «Potions & Lotions» came from my brother; Who visited me one day while I was in the midst of a disastrous batch of Whipped soap. Which never did work out either.

«Moonlight’ just came with it; Not to mention I am a Moon child & I love the color purple. Hence the Man in the Moon Logo.

Been an interesting journey the last seven years to now & hopefully more of you will become curious enough to visit my shop. Maybe even try something.

I’m a Semi-​Retired Mother of two beautiful grown men, & the grandmother of one granddaughter. And a former Marine corp wife.

I have been to college twice, the first for 2 associates; one in medical technology and one in microbiology. The second time around I went for an associates in cosmetology; which is when I found out that I am allergic or sensitive to most known cosmetics and chemicals in the ones on the modern market. This began the long long winding journey until now; Making products that I and other Sensitive Skinned people can use.
