I thought it was great. I got the pulled chicken plate with some corn bread, squash casserole, and Brunswick stew. I was pretty full at the end but not so much that I needed to go to sleep. The chicken was moist and I loved the squash casserole. I tried some of the Mac n cheese of my fiancé’s plate but it didn’t live up to my personal expectations — for me, it was a bit dry but I understand some people like that style. They do have a bar and even serve wine(unlike many BBQ places) however the wine is out of a box — IMO you may as well not serve wine if it’s going to be boxed wine. But the food was excellent and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Not bad at all. Nothing fancy. The bone-in chicken was moist & tender, falling off the bone. Mac & cheese and banana pudding standard quality, but the collards were a bit over cooked. Service was fine, price reasonable. Classic rock from the 70s hit me right in my demographic. Worth a stop.

Disappointing!!! I did not enjoy the barbecue at Moe’s! If you haven’t heard, Nashville recently stole the«BBQ capital of the world» crown from inner-state rival Memphis. Apparently, according to several authorities, Music City has been winning more competitions than the famous joints in the Home of the Blues! That would explain why the BBQ offerings have become so plentiful in Nashville, with a plethora of amazing places to eat ribs and pulled pork. I would agree, firmly believing that the best places in Memphis cannot hold a candle to our own Martin’s, Edley’s, and others. So Moe’s has tremendous competition. If they sold their miserable attempt at barbecue in a tiny little town where there were no other options, it might be acceptable. But such is not the case. In fact just feet from their Cool Springs location, you can get amazing barbecue in a strip mall at Dickey’s. Moe’s just doesn’t cut it in a city of amazing culinary options. The sides were pretty good, and others agree that you go for the sides, not the meat. But it’s just not worth my time to go here. P. S. Their overt support of Alabama football was also a bit off-putting, but that’s not what earned the low rating.

Good BBQ. Had the Turkey sandwich with slaw, flavorful turkey. Red beans and rice side was good, salad was the usual. Good offering for the price. Very casual dining, no table service. No that great for groups.

Was in Nashville for work. Tried Mo’s. The ribs were or of this world good. So good, I saved 2 and brought them home with me because my husband wouldn’t believe me. Love the sauces warming in a crock pot.

Fact: I love BBQ. When it’s done right, there are very few foods out there that are as satisfying. I love how it’s no frills… just a hungry diner throwing caloric caution to the wind with a plate of good food. And good BBQ is definitely what I had this weekend at Moe’s. I ordered the smoked chicken sandwich, which comes piled high with pulled smoked chicken, BBQ sauce, white sauce, slaw and pickles. It was messy to eat, but not unreasonable. It was filling, but I wasn’t doubled over in pain. But most importantly, it was delicious. It was savory and sweet, the BBQ sauce had a nice tang, the slaw had a nice crunch and wasn’t completely drowning in mayo and the bread actually held up pretty well(as opposed to some buns that turn into a soggy mess after a few minutes). It comes with 2 sides, and I got the mac ‘n’ cheese and banana puddin’. The mac ‘n’ cheese was my favorite kind — baked, cheesy, but not overly creamy. I love when the cheese is a little gooey, like real blocks of cheese were used and melted in the oven, as opposed to creamier styles that can seem watered down sometimes. The banana puddin’ was good, though it was definitely the least impressive thing I tried there. It was very, very, thick and tasted slightly like banana, but it wasn’t really banana enough for me. Also there was no actual banana in my serving, and I can’t imagine they make it in really big batches because the Nilla wafers were in tact, so I wish they layered in some banana slices.(Is that inauthentic? I’m not a born and raised Southerner so maybe this idea is absurd.) My husband was especially happy because it was game day and they sold Yellow Hammers, a very popular drink you can get in Tuscaloosa. As a pretty die hard Alabama fan, this basically made his day. In fact, I think it’s the first time he’s been able to order a Yellow Hammer outside of Alabama. Nice!

It was quiet when I came in at 6 but the line was long by 6:30. Started off with the wings and loved them. You can tell they are brined and smoked making them very moist. Good flavor! Went with a pulled pork sandwich with jalapeño cheese grits and pork chili. The pulled pork was very good and did not require sauce. Good bits of bark mixed in for that crunch. The grits were very good and the chili was more like a soup(brothy) but OK. For a chain I was very surprised.

Looking for a quick BBQ. This was the perfect place! Friendly helpful staff. Excellent BBQ sauce, no skimping on the meat! Good selection of sides! Beans were fantastic! Great experience! Do it!

Great food, friendly staff. The menu and ordering process is sometimes confusing for new customers, but the staff walks you through the options. The food is spot on. Easily as good as Dickeys down the street, but the prices here are a bit better.

Food was excellent! Pulled pork plate with beans and slaw. Asked for extra BBQ sauce didn’t even use it BBQ pulled pork was so tender! Only gave it for stars. Because it was awesome they served beer. But didn’t have«any Mexican beer« A corona light. Or even just corona would’ve been 5 star rating!

The food was excellent but unfortunately I can’t give you five stars. I was traveling and got a hotel for the night after 10hrs of driving. Found the place on Unilocal and decided to check it out. I ordered a catfish platter with Mac and cheese with Cole slaw. Long story short my order was lost. 20 minutes before I said anything they were so busy. But they were extremely sorry and made the order right away and threw in banana pudding. Mistakes happen I understand. Go there and get the food. It’s worth it. Not greasy homemade and worth it. I would go back no questions asked. The cornbread was nice and warm and I was so full. The breading was perfect on the catfish and the Mac and cheese was perfect I like mine homemade better than the box kind. The coleslaw is vinegar base but it’s sweet not acidic. If I’m ever traveling through I’ll be sure to stop again.

This is my favorite BBQ place in Franklin. Their pulled pork sandwich topped with slaw, pickles, red and white sauce is hard to beat. They have great sides too.

It’s just alright… Customer service is lack luster. You wait in line to order and pay, my first time in so I left a tip but not sure why. The girl at the register couldn’t crack a smile, the guy that called my name to «pick up» my food was not friendly and I through away my own trash. Not much worthy of a $ 7 tip there. It wont happen again. Overall, the food was just ok. Their ribs are right on the mark KC style, but the pulled pork and the smoked turkey was typical to anything else out there. The shrimp sandwich left my 14 year old asking for more food. If you’re going to charge that kind of money for a self-serve bbq meal, you better have your A-game on at your customer touch points. Like most people, I’m always willing to pay a little more for good customer service. I’m not willing to pay more for poor service. We may have caught them on a bad day. Reading through the list of 4⁄5 stars, some people have had very good dining experiences. I will give it another shot and modify my review if anything changes.

Had the sampler platter with some friends. Very good food! I’m not a turkey fan, but the smoked turkey was very decent. Great sausage, and chicken as well. The pulled pork was ok, but not great. The bottom line though is that when I come here again I’m only ordering ribs. THERIBSWERETHEBEST I HAVEHADSINCESAM’S BBQ1INMARIETTA, GA! Fall off the bone tender and so flavorful that adding bbq sauce took away from the experience. I normally love wet ribs, but these were so tender, juicy, and flavorful that nothing else was needed. If you do nothing else in Cool Springs, get ribs at Moe’s BBQ!

I currently live in Kansas City, and have grown accustom to the top notch BBQ. My boyfriend and I were in the area, heard great things about Moes and decided to give it a shot! It was a great decision. The BBQ pulled pork melted in your mouth. It was clear that the meat was properly smoked for hours. The white sauce is a great addition, make sure to try it. It also looked like they had other BBQ sauces on the counter at the front. Make sure to take a look at the specials board above the«order here» sign. It looks as if they change by day. The sides paired well. I tried the Mac n cheese and stew. I believe the Mac n cheese is always on the menu but other sides change from day to day. It was clear all the ingredients were bought fresh and made daily. Even if you don’t have room, buy a Mississippi mud pie to go, you won’t regret one bite. Totally worth the calories. Also, did I mention they have beers? I know some of the people at the bar were just there to have a few beers and watch some bowl games. What a great local place to stop in and have a drink. After being open for a little while, I think this restaurant has all the kinks worked out and is definitely a place to stop at.

This place is awesome! The hashbrown casserole is da bomb. My food came really fast and the entire staff was sooooo nice. The place wasn’t packed but I came on a Friday around 1 – 2. I got the pulled pork, h/b casserole, greens and bread. yum! I will definitely be back

I enjoyed sitting inside. The booths are pretty cool. They have sports on the tv’s and a ton of beer. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. And I went for bbq, but their wings looked sooo good. The sides were disappointing. I didn’t like the mac n’ cheese or the rice one. But their pulled pork sandwich was good. It was tender and juicy. The sauce was tangy and I enjoyed it but I like choices so it would be cool if they let people choose from a few flavors. Otherwise, I enjoyed this option. Its a good Franklin choice for bbq.

Not a fan of the tangy vinegar based BBQ. Not what I was expecting or like. They didn’t advertise Mac n cheese on their menu or daily sides menu… they have Mac n cheese. I was sad to not get some. The teller seemed angry at the world. Not very nice. Just a poor first impression. Banana pudding was good though.
