Miles: The Auto Spa

No interior wash option– honestly for $ 20 I could have gone to a gas station car wash and whipped the tires down myself.

First and foremost, the place is quite nice and roomy. Lots of distractions, because more time than not, you’re going to wait for your car. That’s a +/​-​depending on your properly set expectations.
That aside, I’ve seen MUCH better interior attention from just about any other carwash I’ve used around the country. I’m guessing most has to do w/​the way they deal with tips. Tips are distributed, vs you tipping the person caring for your car directly. Sure, they should detail each to an equal standard, but this is real life we live in, and that’s not how it will go down… ever.
So I just get the M1 and do the interior myself at home.
That being said, THIS IS MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT AND CONCERN! THEY DO NOT USE SEPARATE RAGS for different parts of your car. There’s a big sign right and above the TV in the main lounge that describes the color and purpose of each rag… that is LONG outdate. They use red and black only, and while I’ve not yet seen them use black (for tires) used on any other part of the car, they do use the red and use it for both OUTSIDE AND INSIDE surfaces. Every. Single. Time. and Since I have an unlimited package, I go likely more often than most and can see them do it multiple times/​week, so it’s just not an isolated incident.
If you are REALLY REALLY picky on what touches the surface of your car, take this into consideration… they use 2 rags; 1 does tires, 1 does literally everything else.
If my car wasn’t a lease, I would just do it myself at home for free… but alas, it’s cheaper to go this route, than pay for excess wear/​tear of a returned lease vehicle, and I just write-​off the carwash as a business expense.

Franklin wash convenients is a plus. Decent car wash. $ 10 is too much for a $ 5 dollar car wash. I could have went to Franklin Car Wash on Center Point and put my money on a great wash.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Lovely waiting area (fireplace, TV, and chairs that recline). Mediocre work on the interior. Upon inspection when I got in the car, I found the dashboard and console had not been dusted. The rear ire mirror had not been cleaned either. I showed this to my attendant, and he immediately apologized and wiped down all of ignored places promptly.

Spent $ 33 plus a tip for one of their mediocre employees for a crappy job. The exterior was barely OK. The interior was almost ignored it seemed. The windows look like someone turned loose a three year old with a greasy rag. Skip this rip off joint.

Had a great experience with the staff. Dre really took care to dry my car with no spots and did an awesome job on my tires. He went above and beyond. My only gripe is that the car wash itself is not touchless and it left swirls in my paint.

This place was absolutely rude and unprofessional. I sat there for 40 minutes for an exterior wash. I needed to leave and they still hasn’t cleaned my wheels nor interior which I had paid for. I was a new customer. If this is how they treat their customers I want nothing to do with it. Horrible service

Hi spent $ 15 just to have the exterior of my truck washed. Their system left me in the wash while they fix the machines. I came out and there were still several dirt spots on my truck. For the same price I could take and will take my truck to a different wash that does everything.

So I have been waiting for 1 hour and 2 minutes currently to get my car washed. I got the basic M1 package which is a basic clean of the interior and exterior.
I have watched several people who have come in after me get their cars and I am still waiting.
When I asked an employee what is going on she went outside to check and came back with there was a mix up and your car needs 10 more minutes and did not offer a free wash or a drink or anything.
If you are willing to wait over an hour for a car wash go to Miles. You will not see me back here. Business lost!

I was referred here this afternoon by my usual car wash, AutoWash Express, which was bought out by Miles. They are redoing the Cool Springs car wash.
I drove up to the automated machine which gave different options for quick washes. There was no explanation what the various Express Washes consisted of. I chose Express Wash 2. When I got the attention of an attendant, he told me what the wash included, stuff I didn’t really want. I and was told to drive through and go to the right. I was expecting to have the car towel dried at least, but no one was there. You turn to the right and exit. I need to find a new car wash.

Just had the worst experience here. This is the most inefficiently run place of business I’ve ever seen in my life. Instead of working on the car in the front of the line they work on the one in back. The vacuum and clean the windows multiple times instead of doing it correctly the first time. Also, when my vehicle made it up to the front line they said it needed a little more vacuuming and some other stuff, but they never touched my vehicle again. After waiting an hour and ten minutes from start to finish I got inside my car to find that the inside was still dirty and very dusty. I will not be a return customer to this place of business.

Took 2 cars there today. I paid for premium services on both. The first car was an SUV and they never even touched the 3^rd row. They were very apologetic and made things right, but paying over $ 120, I was shocked at the level of detail overlooked.
I brought the 2^nd car there assuming the issue was a fluke and really wanted the leather to be done on the inside so again paid over $ 120 total for the leather extraction process. When I got the car back, the seats looked like someone just barely wiped them. I brought the guy over and asked if that was as clean as the extraction service gets them, and he said no, and redid them. I really think the extraction service was never even done because when I got it back a second time, they looked WAY better.
They have a few guys running it that know how to handle complaints and do what they can to make things better, but there must be a real issue with finding workers that detail with the quality needed for the money being spent.
The only reason I will be coming back is that I bought a 10-​pack card. I really hope the management reads these reviews and makes adjustments by the time my card runs out.
On the positive side, its a great atmosphere to have wifi, nice seats, a concession stand, and a large TV to watch while you are waiting.

The girl inside was nice and very apologetic. They took forever and the prices are very steep. They said I would be done in 45 minutes, but I was there for an hour and a half. I won’t be back!

Given they were understaffed the day I went I’m giving them 3 stars instead of 2. The outside of my car was fine. They still had some bug spots but overall good. The issue I had with the service was the inside of the car. The windows still had fingerprints, the leather seats still had dirt smudges from my dog, and the interior was not properly wiped down. I may give this place one more try but I expect more when paying $ 30-​$ 40 to get my car cleaned.

As I sit here writing my review, my car is now being washed for a second time. I bought two gift cards from Costco in order to get the vehicle detailed inside and out. After sitting in line for 15 minutes, I’m informed by the attendant that I could not do the detailing (M5 combo) unless I left it here all day (arrival time shortly before 11). Turned off a bit by this, I ask him for the most complete inside/​outside wash given their schedule (M2, $ 33). Car comes out of the wash tunnel with bird droppings and bug juice all over the car. Front end and the side mirrors look as if they haven’t even been touched. Back hatch still caked with dust. Workers then begin wiping it down and one in particular is putting his bare hands all over the vehicle as he is wiping it down, leaving handprints on my black-​colored vehicle. No effort was made to knock off the brake dust and as I inform him of such, he says it’s an «upgrade» to get the dust off. I then tell him about the front end and mirrors, to which he uses a towel and solution to gently wipe it across, no elbow grease used, doing nothing at all. Minutes later, he presents me with my keys and I refuse my vehicle because the front end is still awful and there was still a mess on the carpets. Then I mention the fact that the rear cargo area was never vacuumed of the dog hair inside, they then say that’s another upgrade. I voice my frustration as I was told M2 was a complete inside/​outside cleaning and my cargo area is not a separate area of the vehicle.
All that being said, it’s my opinion that Miles Auto Spa is an overpriced car wash that has no comprehension on customer satisfaction. I spoke with two managers and told them that this was my first and last trip to Miles, to which both of them walked away without an apology. I’ve now spent an hour and a half here. In that time, I could have done the job myself, paying attention to detail, and came up with a better result. Please, highly consider this review before embarking on a trip here.

Coffee bar, drinks, snacks, free drinks, great service, and very professional. place is always busy, plan on waiting.

This place is terrible! Their menu is confusing at the drive through, it goes backwards. I chose the M2…
You are hurried to pick which option you want followed by the attendant barking off various extras you «might want» which should be included in the already ridiculous price… they’re not. Next comes the wash that gets about 60% of the dirt off of your vehicle. Then the hand dry and window wash. I will say they got the windows shining clean… that’s about it. I once-​overed the car and there was dog hair and dirt still everywhere. Dirt on the floors, bird poop still on the roof, the car was still filthy. They reluctantly took it back through the wash which did almost nothing. then the guy towel dried it… halfway… again.
I complained to the manager, or at least the guy who claimed to be one, who gave me a coupon for $ 33… not the $ 39 I paid when all was said and done. Why would I want a coupon for another terrible car wash??? He even said «Well, sir, we have so many people through here we miss stuff sometimes» WTF. That’s what people get fired over at other places…
Go to Auto-​Wash on Charlotte or Shur-​Brite off of Music Row. it’s worth the drive. Most of the guys working there are felons or hard-​to-​find work type employees. they do an excellent job (they actually care or at least are afraid of their managers enough to pretend well), not some asshat teenager that lives in Brentwood who cares more about his Instagram notifications than his job.
TL;DR: Go ANYWHERE else. or do it yourself. save the money.

My first review, my worst experience. After purchasing the M5 for $ 130 I left only to return home and clean my own leather seats, wipe down mud and vacuum out some pet hair. For $ 130 my car should be perfect. I don’t know that I’ve ever been so disappointed. Detail worth maybe $ 30. Will never be going there again.

As a car guy, I can really tell if a car has been properly cleaned. Today The car wash crew at Miles did an excellent job making my car look great! Very good service from the greeting, checkout, and all the staff that I encountered while getting my car cleaned. I’ll be back!
