History

Established in 2010.

James spent 8 years as a staff instructor at Belmont Academy before opening his own studio at Holy Cross Anglican Church in 2008. His business grew and became an LLC in 2010. He currently maintains a student load of over 70 pupils of all ages. James is especially proud to serve the diverse ethnic population of middle Tennessee. Nearly half his students are of Asian origin!

Business Owner

A native of Rochester NY, James has been a Tennessee resident since 1980. He earned degrees in church music (organ & voice) and music education (K-​8) from Belmont University and has well over 20 years experience teaching music. Student teaching done at Montessori Academy in Brentwood. James and his wife of 40 years, Carol, have two grown children, Benjamin and Rebecca. He has been organist-​choirmaster at Holy Cross Anglican Church in Franklin since 2006.
