Specialties
What if your body could tell you what is wrong with it? It can! No guesswork, no referrals to specialists, no expensive and uncomfortable diagnostic tests – just the body’s own awareness instructing you what it needs in order to be restored to wellness. The human body has an innate, or inborn, intelligence. It knows what’s wrong. All your body needs in order to share this valuable information is the means to communicate it. That is where we come in.

The «who» of Health and Wellness Solutions is Ed Mikrut, whose own journey to wellness ultimately inspired him to work in the field of alternative health. Ed is an author, Wellness Consultant, Nutritional Counselor, Dietary Advisor and Health Assessment Technology Consultant. The seeds of Ed’s interest in non-mainstream medicine were planted at 11 years of age, when he began undergoing a series of treatments for a health issue that the medical community could not provide answers to, with a retired chiropractor, Dr. E.E. Mechelke, who was recommended by a family friend. Within roughly a year’s time, Ed was experiencing complete freedom from his physical ailment, and was given the gift of a normal adolescence. Besides his natural giftings as a teacher and his interest in life-long learning, Ed has a Bachelors’ degree from Auburn University in Education and Master’s training as a counselor.
