I was visiting Franklin and found this store by accident. I went in looking for a birthday gift bag & found namebrand crafting items for pennies on the dollar. they have sewing items including trim, buttons, zippers ettc. I found Jolee & Swarovski crystal beads for jewelry making and lots of other notions. This store is neatly organized and clean. Yes there are random generic brands but also name brands at a fraction of the cost. Any crafter would love this store.

I am not a dollar store shopper. I can’t tell you the difference between a Dollar General, a Family Dollar, a Dollar Store, Big Lots, or any of the others because I don’t go there. I’m a Target girl, call me a shopping snob if you wish — but I like what I like. You walk into this store and you are greeted by aisles of brightly but harshly light generic products in every imaginable form — baby powder, Dayspring greeting cards, bad garden statues(as if there are any good ones), and loads of party supplies. If you are hosting a large children’s birthday party and looking for solid color coordinating disposables, then you should probably check their prices because they have a lot of them and they appear to be cheap. I’m sure they are cheap in quality, too, but for a six year old Barbie party, do you really care? You’re thinking man, she gave this place four stars but doesn’t appear to like it and you don’t even know why I walked in here, much less created a listing for them on Unilocal to review them. A couple of years ago I was in a scrapbooking store in Mt. Juliet, and the clerk noted I lived in Franklin and said I had to go to the Dollar Mart Plus. I explained I lived almost across the street from there, but no, I had not visited the bargain basement establishment. She explained they have two aisles of scrapbooking embellishments DIRTCHEAP, and she was right. I now pop in here about every six weeks or so just to see what’s new. Jolee and K & Company are my brands of choice, and they them every day for $ 1.25. Travel, holidays, birthday, kid’s stuff, letters, you name it — seriously, $ 1.25 for what is probably marked $ 2.99−5.99 in scrapbook and hobby stores. I have no idea why, and I don’t question it. They also have half an aisle of stencil and stamping stuff, but I don’t do that… so I can’t comment if the brands are good or not. If you like them on facebook, they will every once in a while post messages like this past weekend«Scrapbook sale to make room — everything is $ 1.00» I went, and it was. I realize $ 1.25 down to $ 1.00 isn’t much of a difference, but that sale tells me very soon there’s a new shipment coming in, so I’m planning on visiting again in the very near future. If you don’t scrapbook or you’re not planning a large child’s birthday party… you probably have no reason to visit this store. But for those of us who love to crop — enjoy.
