Meet the Business Owner

Lisa B.

Business Owner

Nationally awarded artist Lisa G Bailey holds a BA in Art. She works and teaches in many drawing and painting mediums. Lisa taught art at King Philip High School adult education program, Artist-In-Resident at South Elementary School in Bellingham and substitute art teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy. Lisa was President of the RIWS and FAA. She was a juror for Marlboro Regional Art Exhibits, Discover Sri Lanka children’s contest, and FAA exhibit. As an artist Lisa explores many different techniques while adding her own interpretation. Through this process Lisa created a new style in watercolor that she calls Color Weave. Lisa believes an expressive painting is more than creating a literal summary of the subject but the result of choices made by the artist; what to eliminate, change or simplify. Lisa is an active member of many art associations and guilds while maintaining a busy exhibiting schedule. Individuals and businesses throughout the USA have purchased her artwork.
