I established Cooking with Class with Deb Buzar in 2005 to share my knowledge and love of food/​wine and cooking with the home enthusiast in a personal enviornment.

I grew up in Minneapolis and moved to Orange County, California with my husband in 1988. My love of cooking led me to Laguna Culinary Arts where I graduated from their Professional Chef Program with Merit in 2003. In 2005, I earned the Level 2 Intermediate Certificate in Wines, Spirits and other Alcoholic Beverages from the Wine, Spirits, and Education Trust from London, England. I served as lead instructor for Laguna Culinary Arts Private Events Team as well as Cooking Instructor for their Specialty and Gourmet Series Classes for 10 years. You could also find me teaching, as a guest chef at local Cookware Stores such as Store For Cooks and Villa Cucina. I founded Cooking with Class in 2005. Over the past twelve years, I have instructed over 1,500 students and led team building classes for Fortune 500 companies.

As well as owning my own cooking class company, I also teach cooking classes for Sur La Table in Troy.
