Simple and straightforward — this is a run-of-the-mill, chain ice cream shop. So, it’s OK and nothing special. 31 flavors(everybody should know their trademark saying by now). All kinds of toppings available — for an additional charge. Staff during mid-afternoon, when the place had a steady stream of customers, was pleasant and — more importantly — efficient. Building is set back from the street with a few parking spaces in front. Be careful backing out into the street if you park there. Plenty of street parking also available. A few tables with umbrellas for outdoor seating. Kids will probably like it. Adults who are not looking for one of today’s artisan ice cream shops can satisfy their craving for a cold treat on a sunny day.(And for the nutrition-conscious consumer, their nutritional info is readily available on line.)

The ice cream tastes great of course… but they probably don’t have your flavor in stock. And topping for that matter… They had no reeses for the Sunday or ores to make any of the milkshakes. Dissapointing to say the least…

If I could leave no stars I would. I’m visiting Franklin with some friends and our children. I have never been treated to rudely. Tiga offered no personality or service. She just pointed to a wall when I asked where the bathroom was. I tried to clarify and she rolled her eyes to tell me I had to go down the hallway. Sorry that I’m five feet even and pregnant that I couldn’t read the women’s sign from the place I was standing when I originally looked before asking. Another girl at least smiled before she left to go sit down, headphones still on and text on her phone. Younger fair skinned with brown hair blonde highlights. After my 6 year old asked me if these people needed a hug… i knew it was apparent what the overall mood of this place was. I would not recommend anyone who wants a friendly smile to come here. And definitely do not bring your kids. Tiga was very impatient. Not at all happy with tonight’s service.

Wouldnt let me in the store because some whistle-blower employee happened to be outside when i zipped up my 3 lb yorkie inside my bag. There seemed to be some kind of small event going on, being there were about 20 baskin robins employees out front and no one inside the store. What’s more annoying is they all stopped talking when i attempted to walk past the store and did this cheese smile. Like can i help you?! Get your ass in there and scoop some damn ice cream. Awkward and annoying. Where are the grown ups? I was littrally their only customer when this occurred. What a shame. My little dog all zipped up inside my bag is not going to offend anyone and its not going cause you some large fine, so get off your high horse«ma’aam.»

It was so hot I stopped in for a quick milk shake. There was nobody in there mid day, but both girls behind the counter were very friendly and talkative. I got a cookies & crème malt and it was delicious. Prices were a bit outrageous though. That’s the only negative I saw.

Great service. Good ice cream of course. On the day we visited a sign advertised free ice cream for canines.

Our kids love it! I was surprised at how many people came in while we were eating out cones. Their location is not the best but the service is!

Sadly, I rarely have a good customer service experience at this particular location. The ONLY thing that keeps me coming back is the Cappuccino Blast, which is my favorite frozen coffee drink. My last experience is what prompted this review. I went in in the evening, and I was the only customer. The girl, who is there almost every time I visit, and does not exceed expectations in customer service, was chatting on the phone. She make my order without much interest, then when she when back to her phone call she said, «Sorry about that.» I felt like I had taken her away from something important. With Ben and Jerry’s just down the street, this store is going to have to step up its game! I’d only give this location one star, except for the fact that’s its Baskin-Robbins, and the product is delicious.

I have to say that I actually feel sorry for this location of Baskin Robbins. Their ice cream is no different than any other location, but it is their location that is the pits. Located a block from heavily trafficked Main Street where there is a Ben and Jerry’s, I have a hard time convincing myself to stop here when either going to, or leaving Main Street. Possibly aware of this fact, the service at this location has routinely been outstanding. So thumbs up for that.
