Rita’s Italian Ice

Ordered 4 items. Vanilla cone, got back vanilla in a cup. Kid size vanilla in cup w oreo topping, got back vanilla w sprinkles. Waffle sundae, only order that came back right. Final order was a banana sundae which after we paid lady comes back and tells us they are out of bananas. We asked if the waffle sundae (like I ordered) is the same price she responds yes. So to make it easier we tell her to just give us the same to replace banana sundae… she comes back w a sundae w no waffle.
Hate to say it but it’s my husband’s first time here this season n unfortunately it’s his last.

Custard is amazing, spice it up with some Reese’s or maybe some Italian ice if you that’s how you like it!

WOW you can totally tell that this Rita’s is under new ownership! The order window is so spacious and clean, also the updated choice of music playing is pleasant. The girls behind the counter were very friendly and smiling. All six of us were very happy with our Ices and Custards! I am looking forward to our summer weekly visits to Rita’s this year!

Great Italian ice and custard. Fast service. Not expensive.

Ordered vanilla frozen custard and blendini, both original size. Cups were smaller than expected, taste was average. Had better elsewhere.

Italian ice is an awesome refreshing summer treat. Rita’s sells a very refreshing ice product along with many choices in frozen custard.
The good: Diverse flavors that vary and many are very good. Coconut crème ice and root beer float cream ice both very good.
The OK: Flavors change every few days and selection is always limited. You could have had an awesome flavor Monday and come back Wednesday only to be disappointed its not offered that day.
The weird: Peeps, and PB&J ice. What is scary is that they are SPOT ON for flavor. Not my cup of tea, but they have very good flavor matching and some very unique flavors that are worth exploring.
Their selection of drinks and mixes is also good. Their custard is rich and delicious but be prepared to be hungry as a little goes a long way.
Reasonably price, nearly always a line, but fast and friendly service.
A regular stop for us on hot days!
