Ricks is Frankfort, ky oldest and most popular diner. Recently, we were on Guy Fieri’s Diners Drive ins and Dives. We feature Kentucky family farm meats, local honey, maple syrup, eggs and many more local products. We smoke meats and have a large selection po boys. Our crawfish pie and eggs Benedict are very popular. We use only real butter and our seafood comes from this country not china

History

Established in 1943.

Known for years as «The hamburger joint» It has evolved into a very diverse menu and customer base. We have always been a 16 seat diner. We do have picnic tables outside that stay quite occupied.

Meet the Business Owner

Rick P.

Business Owner

I served in the Navy in the 1960’s. I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1975. I have worked at the Greenbriar in West Virginia. I have owned and operated several restaurants and night clubs over the years. I was personal Chef for the owners of Calumet Farm, Lanes End Farm and Chef for the Lt. governor. I spent many years catering for large and small parties. My passion is cooking, bringing fresh, local products to the table. My dislikes are, corporate restaurants!
