We specialize in all mold related services. We conduct inspections of your property if you are concerned about the possibility of mold in your home or office. We can take surface tests and air tests to determine if mold is present. If there is mold in your home or office we can remediate (remove) it. We also feature an environmentally safe anti-​microbial treatment that will protect surfaces from the recurrence of mold.

We have been servicing our customers since 2007. We take great pride in earning the positive reviews and referrals of our customers. A mold issue can be a scary proposition to a lot of people. We strive to make the mold removal process quick and easy.

I am excited to work with such a great group of people here at Mold Solutions of Chicago. Everyone truly cares about the customer. It makes my job as owner a lot easier when I don’t have to «make» the employees care about the quality of their work. Everyone in our company, myself included, are IICRC certified in mold remediation. We are also IICRC certified in water restoration. We have also completed the National Association of Mold Professionals training courses. Our company is BBB certified as a non-​complaint company. We are also proud to be a 6 time Angie’s List Super Service award winner.

We very impressed with them they tried very hard to schedule us into the time frame we wanted and the guys who came out were super friendly professional and kept our home clean. Ed came out for the estimate I agree with the other reviews he has his own personality but the guys who came out where just great!

Used these guys twice, once when house shopping and once in our current house. Both times were fantastic service experiences. The guys were always on time, very patient and through. They walked us through possible causes and solutions and and were really knowledgeable. The thing that made them outstanding is that they told us honestly when something was minor rather than trying to take advantage of our concerns to rip us off. This is a trustworthy business and that says a lot.

Twice this year I have needed them, and both times I have received excellent service. When my wife and I bought our house in March we knew we had black mold from the inspection, we have them out to quote us and as soon as the weather permitted they came out and remediated the mold for us.
Due to hail damage we had a leak in the garage attic and black mold went crazy in there, they were out and fixed it up very quickly once again. Excellent company, while I hope to never have to use them again, I know that if I have black mold, they are who I will be calling.

Mold Solutions was fantastic! No one wants to be told you have mold in the attic, but if you have it, call them and they will take care of it. Everyone was very professional, and the work was done quickly and cleanly. The attic looks brand new!

Too many conflicting stories with them. They say one thing and then do another. They certainly were not willing to work with my schedule. Ed the inspector was very cocky, arrogant and condescending to myself and my husband. Told our Property manager one story, and us another. WAY too big for his britches and a big jerk to boot! Would NOT recommend this place just based on dealing with Ed alone!!! If that’s the «quality customer service» that this company provides, then I’m shocked that they are still in business! The workers did a decent enough job, but once again, they told me one thing and my husband another. They were also late due to Ed telling the crew one appointment time, and my property manager another. Customer service friendly!!! Not in my case. The one positive? I don’t have to deal with these people ever again!

From the sales guy to the office staff to the crew who showed up to work on our home, everyone was considerate and helpful. When you are paying someone a significant amount to work on your home, you want to feel that you can trust the work they are doing. The Mold Solutions staff are personable while maintaining professionalism. The product/​service is unique and fairly priced considering the alternative options that are out there for mold removal. I would highly recommend Mold Solutions to a friend or family member, and if needed (in other parts of my home) would use them again.

Wow! Can’t say enough about the responsiveness, courtesy and professionalism we encountered with this company. I literally called at 8:00 at night for a next day, last minute inspection before closing. Adam called me back first thing in the morning and then rearranged his schedule for the day to meet me. Could not be more impressed! Very informative and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

My husband and I recently purchased our first home — a 100 year old dollhouse in downtown St. Charles. The former owner did a semi-​conversion of the garage, and my husband decided to set up his office in there since we only have one car and as former city folk, are just thrilled to have a freaking driveway.
Anyway. With all the rain we’ve had this summer, our location near the river, and the general «wetness» around the property, I was convinced we had mold in the garage. I called Mold Solutions today and got an education on mold from Brian, who was ridiculously pleasant and easy to talk to. He recommended an inspection ($ 50) rather than an air quality test ($ 300+) and I was grateful he didn’t try to take advantage of my admitted ignorance in these matters.
He sent Tom out to my house. Today. Yep. Same day. My husband met with him and he spent extra time not only discussing our lack of mold (YAY!) but also showing him examples of what to watch for, how to prevent it, etc. My husband called immediately after the appointment to tell me how impressed he was.
I’m super-​relieved we don’t have mold, but I’m also glad to know we have someone trustworthy and professional to call if we ever encounter a problem. Thanks, guys!

I have not enough good words to say. Adam listened to my story on the phone and we set up an appointment. I already had mold tests done that told me I had Penicillin growing in my wall, though a small amount and a hint of it in the air. My family had been having allergy symptoms and we don’t have allergies. We had only lived in this home a short time and it was built in 1928. I was concerned that there might be mold growing in the walls through out the front of the house. I do have a couple of known leaks. Any number of things could have happened including taking out some wall to see and possibly a large estimate that I need a ton of work done. Adam examined the area. Looked in attic, read the results and told me… I needed to do nothing! Well, I needed to buy a product and wash up the area after I treat it, but no big work, no cutting out my walls. My issue was not really an issue and something that is quite within normal limits and for the age of the house not at all unusual. He explained mold growth in a house the age of mine, what to look for in the future and totally put my mind at ease. Better yet, no charge to come out. There are so many great companies out there and an equal as many cheats. I was so worried when you have a subject you know nothing about. Mold Solutions can be completely trusted, in my opinion!

Adam was great. He was very personable on the phone when i called and was the most helpful and professional of all the companies i researched. He wasn’t pushy on the phone either like some others i called.
He arrived early for the appt and went straight to the issue of mold in the attic that we had found. He explained everything in layman’s terms so that we could understand it and seemed very knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy his profession.
He had the right mix of professionalism, expertise and friendliness and we felt very comfortable. He didn’t charge us for the consultation because we had a coupon but we would have happily paid his usual rate of $ 50 as it is a very reasonable price for what he did.
I would recommend Adam to anyone. Make sure you ask for him when you call.

After that last storm we had a few weeks ago, I had seepage along one of the walls in my basement. I called Mold Solutions after reading all the rave reviews on Angie’s List.
Adam came out and not only did he feed my brain with information on mold, how it lives, breathes, and develops BUT he also gave me some general tips on bricks, maintenance, and other serivces that I can call to fix the foundation problem that was causing the seepage!
He also sent the proposal THAT NIGHT!
I am waiting to see what’s going on with the foundation before booking them but when that’s done, I’m gong with Mold Solutions.
