Jameson’s has the best French Onion soup out there! Even my young daughter loves it. Thw burgers are great and I love that they have the $ 5/​$ 6 burger Mondays. It is an affordable dinner out for the family. Also, their drink menu is excellent… so many choices… rum runner is my favorite! The outdoor area has a beautiful setting and makes the experience even more enjoyable. This is my «go to» location with my family as well as for a girls night out. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I love this place! One of our go to restaurants in Frankfort. We love eating in because the atmosphere is great and so is the menu! So many choices and all have been delicious! We also order to go a lot on those nights we want to relax on the couch. Food orders are always prompt, warm and correct!

Very good food. Nice outside eating area. Negatives; smoking outside near folks that are eating. Very, very loud inside.

I will begin with the food… it is pub food. The dinners are minimal at best. One steak on the menu, pork chops, salmon and a couple of other selections. I had the pork chops Grecian style, hubby had blackened, my chops were fine and his were really, really dried out. Sweet potato fries were good, so was the potato soup and chili. EYE candy for sure. Servers in shorter then short shorts and tank tops. The bar was loaded with men of every age, young old and in-​between. A few young millennial ladies were in the bar area also. I can see why this place is so popular with the men. We counted that every person that walked in the door was male, no females. We dined early so I am sure by the time the evening crowd made it in, this was going to be on great place to meet new friends at the bar. So we get the bill from the server, we paid the bill, the change comes back and we counted it. We were short $ 30.00 bucks. My husband called our server over, she said she was sorry and then gave us the exact amount of money back without even counting what she had given us prior to our calling her back to tell her she was short money. We gave her no amount and yet she knew the EXACT amount that we were shorted. Could this have been a mistake, or is this a normal situation? Not sure, but it was funny that she pulled the thirty bucks right out of her money stash. Just a reminder that if you choose to go here, be sure to count your change before leaving. It makes me think that if someone is so done in by drinking too much beer, do they take the time to count change or just stuff it in their pockets?

I really enjoy Jameson’s. The menu has a great selection, and of the handful of items I’ve tried, I’ve enjoyed them. It has a nice atmosphere with good TV viewing, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Located in a large log cabin, Jameson’s is a nice spot for a sandwich and a drink. The food is good and the bar is fun. There is a large patio in back for summer and fall. When I am in Frankfort It is a toss up between Gustav’s and Jameson’s.

Great food & atmosphere and a super place to watch a game!

We decided to take the kids here on a Sunday night around 5pm. Parking lot was packed but it was a 20 – 25 minutes wait so we stuck around. It was NFL playoff night so understood. I like the looks of the place and could see us hanging out in there when we get the chance. Our food was really good, beer selection was good and decent prices. The kids meals come with ice cream so that’s a bonus. We will for sure come back. Only gave 4 stars because they stuck us in a booth that was hard to get to and a chair on the end. Other than that it was all around good.

Never been disappointed at Jameson’s, southwest egg rolls are awesome get them everytime! Burgers, wings, chicken wraps, ribs all I have ate there and all are good! Got plenty off craft beers to pick from.
The manager George is a very nice guy and all the staff is nice and attentive! Lots of tvs and great for sports games! Only reason I took off a star is it gets crowded and loud on popular nights. Definitely keep Jameson’s in my rotation

I love this place! Great place to get an excellent hamburger, the service was awesome our server was great. We had Great family night.

If I could give a negative star I would because they don’t even deserve 1 star. Talk about piss poor customer service and complete failure of quality of food!
So I order 3 pico burgers to go ($ 37.91), well done. I drive 15 minutes away to our destination, it’s now 9:20pm. We open and mouth is watering because they look delicious. My wife and daughter cut theirs in halves and they look good. I don’t cut mine in half but instead take a bite. Medium to medium rare I’d call mine. I ate half of it attempting to eat around the edges trying not to eat pink ground beef.
So a phone call is in order. A phone call is made and the woman on the other end basically said bring it back we’ll make another. If I was dining in that wouldn’t be much of an issue. But at 9:20 pm on a Thursday I will not be adding another 30 minutes of driving to get a replacement burger and eat 45 minutes later than my family! I suggested a credit, nope they wouldn’t do that. And I’m not doing what they suggest so they can literally go pound sand! I try to visit or order from them once a month but after this poor choice of customer service they’ll never get another dollar from me!

Food and drinks here are awesome! I’m constantly trying new items. I really enjoy the burgers. They are always cooked perfectly. Great place to watch sporting events but get crowded.
Great atmosphere arrogant staff. Even the owners are rude. They talk down to their staff and made my friends and I very uncomfortable.

Great food. But not acoustically sound. Hard to hear people talking. It gets really loud. why even come for dinner if its difficult to converse with people.

Horrible serivce! Rude hostess, rude waitress, and after an encounter with the manager I can see why! MANAGER had the worst attitude of them all !!
Food was ok and beer was cold. But I can get better food and cold beer with great service somewhere else.
If you like mediocre food and like being treated rudely by the people who are supposed to serve you… Then go to Jamesons. If you dont… pick somewhere else because anything will be better WAY WAY better…

This is one of my go to places to eat on Mondays when they offer $ 4.00 burgers. I upgrade to the black and blue burger which is $ 6.00 which also comes with a side of fries. The service is good– the servers constantly refill my soda. I feel that I am getting a good value with the food and the service!

Let me just start off by saying that when I come here, it’s for beer & shots, so I really have nothing to say about having my order/​drink made wrong, as others have mentioned.
The place is a giant stone/​log cabin which is nothing short of impressive & totally undeserving of Frankfort. That being said, it can still be a bit cramped on Friday & Saturday nights. Plenty of televisions to provide whatever sports teams are currently playing. You can easily be mesmerized by some of the best music videos of the 90’s to today on those same televisions later at night… a nice alternative to the standard Touch Tunes. You won’t find any cheesy cover bands playing «Jesse’s Girl» here, or any bands for all that matter. There is a small private party room upstairs with a full bar & it would be nice to see them utilize this with a DJ from time to time when it’s not already booked.
As previously mentioned by other reviewers, there’s not an ugly server in the house, which is all the more reason to come here.
As for the food… I like to keep it simple with a burger & fries. Ya really can’t go wrong there.
If you plan on coming here with the wife & kids, just be out by 8 or 9. Because after that, it’s just another bar, filled with bar type people, so don’t complain about beer slugging meat heads or the occasional cat fight.

Went the other day and my experience was better than the last few. The place was packed and there were only a few seats at the bar. It was burger specials night with all selections of then between $ 4 – 6. Included fries. The sandwich was very good. Better than the last time. The service was also very good. So not sure if this was one of the“hit” days rather than a «miss» as I refered to below. I will be back.

2 stars only because the space is pretty cool. Very loud, very crowded with children. And when I use the word children, I mean fresh 21 year old kids.
If you’re super young, of age, and think your shit don’t stink, hang out here.
As for me, I won’t be going back.

I just can’t like this place. I come here when I don’t want to bump into people I know. The service is ok I guess. They try. I just don’t think any of them are cut out to actually be in the service industry.
The food is just awful. I will make it work in a pinch (meaning drunk). Sober me can’t eat here though. The drinks range from watered down to average. I would never suggest anyone going here unless it was a last resort. They do seem to always be open. I’ll give them an extra star for that.
