Holiday Inn Express & Suites Frankfort

This hotel desperately needs a bathroom renovation. Our vanity was cracked clean through, the grout was missing around the base of the tub and the shower rod was broken so we had to tie a washcloth around the rod to hold the shower curtain in place. The tiles were also cracked and the towels extremely worn (one had several holes the size of dimes). This was the room we got after I asked for a second room (first room worse tiles, worse tub, not sure about shower rod). The room and bathroom were clean and that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars, great housekeepers and breakfast attendant. I thought this room was very overpriced for the bathroom and was padded with a $ 20 additional tax for the bourbon area, do yourself a favor and keep driving if you’re not in the area for bourbon tourism, you’ll get better prices and not get a secondary tax if you stop further out.

The desk clerk told me this hotel was only 5 years old, but they are remodeling the rooms. My room is near the elevator and it was a little noisy. It is very convenient to several places to eat. The rooms were clean. My one complaint would be my view. The huge stone front of the hotel entrance is my view.

Great place to stay. The room was really nice, updated and clean. Checked in and the person at the front desk was really nice and helpful. Pool was great after a day on the road. Asked the front desk about a place to eat nearby and was pointed to the mexican restaurant nextdoor. It was awesome. Best authentic mexican food I have had in a long time. I can not say enough about how pleasant my stay was. This is a frequent trip for me, so this will be my rest stop.

This hotel was fine. The room felt like it could have been updated just a tad. It was on the older side. As far as needing a place to sleep this place worked, though. Just be mindful if your room is near the elevator you will hear every mo fo leaving and talking about their plans for the day.: /

The people here are fantastic! We arrived late as a walk in and they had 1 room left. It was a king suite and they charged us $ 125.00! That was a sweet deal. The room is huge. It is very spacious and I question why all the extra floor space. But none the less this is by far one of of the best deals I have had in a while.
The beds were very comfortable and clean. The towels were fluffy and not scratchy. It might need some carpet updating. My room has blue plaid curtains and brown and tan carpet. It seems to clash. The breakfast was really for what a hotel serves. Bacon, biscuits and gravey, scrambled eggs, fresh cinnamon rolls (these were very good) and the usual fare of pancakes, waffles, toast, french toast, yogurt, fruit, bagels, cold cereral and oatmeal. Coffee, juices and milk.
