Fresh Beef Market

I had seen this place a lot while traveling on Hollis street but never considered going in. I am a big fan of chicken hearts which are rather difficult to find alone without gizzards and have been searching for them and so thought to go check out the place. I went there and was happy to find marinated chicken hearts. They have a wide variety of marinated meat and sausages. I wanted chorizos but they did not have them or probably don’t sell them. Only one guy working there knew some English so it was difficult to understand what he meant by «no chorizos». They sell different kind of meat by parts. It was crowded and it seemed like everyone there knew everybody else. They also sell some groceries. The hearts turned out to be really amazing after I grilled them. Will surely go back.

Wow! Don’t judge a book by its cover! Stopped in today out of curiosity and was blown away by the great service and quality meat! Owner was extremely friendly and willing to custom cut whatever I wanted. Even gave me a couple of his homemade smoked sausages to try for free! Although there is not much to see, they will cut or order you anything you could want. Prices are great as well! FBM is the meat market I have been looking in MetroWest.
