Boston Rustic Wedding Rentals

Love, love, love BRWR! Our wedding was on May 30, 2015 in Dennisport. We rented various pieces from BRWR from lawn games to whiskey barrels and various rustic signs. I wish I had found them sooner in my planning because I would have rented even more! Their products are awesome and Joe and Faleesha are great to work with. They were very responsive and committed to ensuring everything was perfect for our special day. I highly recommend them and their high quality products.

I was put in charge of décor for a Christian Women’s Conference for 150 women at the Holiday Inn in Rockland ballroom. The budget was very small but the vision for the décor was very clear; it needed to have a simple, clean rustic-​feel and we needed to turn the holiday inn ballroom space into a very intimate setting. To pull this off, I began searching craigslist for brides who might be selling their décor when I stumbled upon Boston Rustic Wedding Rentals site. I immediately sent them an email with my «wish list» of all the beautiful items posted on their site (never expectating really to be able to afford it all), a description of our event and it’s purpose and within minutes Faleesha emailed me back with a resounding YES to everything on my list for a price within our budget. Between the planning stages and the time of the event, I added and took off décor and had many questions in between and Faleesha was always so amazing to deal with, always getting right back to me with whatever I needed.
Before the event, I looked up the BRWR on Unilocal and became a little scared when I saw all the negative reviews. I contemplated looking for another company but decided to cross my fingers and pray that they delivered.
I’m so thankful that I took a chance despite the negative reviews because BRWR’s décor made the event the experience we were hoping it would be and more. On the day of the event, Faleesha and her husband drove an hour away to our event to set up everything. They were on time, arrived with smiles on their faces, and ready to work.
Our attendees were in awe of all the decorations and how beautiful every single detail was from the centerpieces, the burlap runners, all the blueberry crates with candles inside, the rustic benches, the photo booth, the reception table with the wine barrels, the rustic chalkboard easel etc. This event was truly a dream from start to finish thanks to Boston Rustic Wedding Rentals.
I don’t understand all the negative reviews on Unilocal because this was such the polar opposite of our experience with them. Thank you so much Faleesha and your amazing husband for helping bring my vision alive for our women’s conference! You guys are the best!

This past December, I had the privilege of working with Faleesha and Joe on a multi-​week holiday market event in Boston. They provided the lion share of the rentals we needed for the month and were incredibly communicative, flexible, and helpful from the time we visited their showroom early in the fall until the last pieces were picked up at the conclusion of the event in January.
True to what you’d expect from a service-​oriented vendor, Faleesha not only arranged for the fabrication of many custom pieces we needed, she also worked out a very generous pricing structure for our long-​term rentals. In the end, the pieces from BRWR really helped set the tone for the look and feel of the event.
I know I will definitely use BRWR for events down the road and look forward to working with Faleesha, Joe, and their team again.

I worked with Faleesha over the course of a month to figure out décor and rentals for a wedding I was starting to plan in Dartmouth, MA. They are really a one-​stop-​shop for people who are looking for value.
1. Faleesha was courteous, helpful, and prompt to respond to all emails. I wrote very extensive emails, I’m talking 10 – 12 questions in an email, and Faleesha would diligently answer each question with as much detail as possible. Average response time for my emails were within a day.
2. We spent over an hour talking on the phone for our first call, with her coaching me how we should figure out all the décor items needed for a wedding taking place at a private residence.
3. Their prices are very reasonable! From farm tables to tent rental, their prices cannot be beat. I emailed/​talked to 4 different tent companies like Chase, Sperry, Newport tent rental, and no one’s price was able to beat Boston Rustic. BRW also doesn’t nickle and dime you, for example the side wall for the tent is part of the price, you don’t have to pay extra such as I received in quotes from the other tent companies. I remember their prices also included the labor to set up and break down, which other companies will charge you a fee for.
4. They can custom build anything within reason! Just show them a Pinterest photo and Faleesha’s husband can build it from scratch. This is pretty impressive, if you want something unique for your wedding arch, or anything in particular.
5. Their deposit system is very reasonable. You put down a 30% non-​refundable deposit, and with that you’re allowed to move around items, so just because you initially picked 20 higher end chairs, you can still change those to a different chair type later since any items ultimately go toward the final bill. They are very, very flexible which I liked.
6. They allow people to visit the warehouse and see everything in person, so if you are local and want to make sure you know exactly what you’re getting, it’s possible.
Overall, I really had a great experience working with Faleesha and although my fiancé and I ended up switching cities (to a destination wedding!), if we would have kept it in Boston area, I would definitely have used Boston Rustic.
I know there are negative reviews on here from brides who did not get what they expected, and I sympathize with that since it is an important and memorable day, but I think BRW has learned (likely the hard way) on how to better manage their volume and inventory, and won’t repeat the same mistakes again.

BRWR was fabulous! Working with Faleesha was great and the farm tables and chairs we ordered were perfect for our vintage-​styled wedding. Faleesha responded promptly to every e-​mail and the prices were far cheaper than anywhere else we looked. Everything arrived at the time we requested (22 tables and 148 chairs!) and clean up was fast and easy. We’re so glad we used BRWR and definitely recommend them.

Kyle, we apologize you feel you had a less than perfect experience but we feel it’s important to respond to your review, as it is a duplicate review of other reviews on our page. The review left below this one is from your wife, user «AS», and there are 4 other reviews on our page that were left by friends who left negative reviews for the same event. We would also like to add that you were promptly refunded for any items that were not delivered, we spoke to you several times by phone, as well as e-​mail and there was never any court action taken.
My response to Faleesha G.:
Hah. You really should just quit while you’re ahead.
Your company failed to deliver tables and chairs for a wedding to see nearly 80 people. You gave us about 2 hours notice, on the day of the event, despite numerous assurances that you would deliver on time in the days leading up to the event.
The fact that you didn’t show up drastically effected our reception, forced numerous people to rush around and move folding tables/​chairs from several locations so that we had seating.
You’re complaining about 4 negative reviews? We had nearly 80 guests, consider yourself lucky that they didn’t ALL leave you negative feedback.
Also, we were NOT promptly refunded our money. It took nearly a dozen emails, nearly a dozen text messages, countless voicemails over the course of over a month before we ever saw any money from you. The only «prompt» part of our refund was the final payment portion which we made days before the event because WE issued a chargeback through our bank. It wasn’t until nearly a month of threatening legal action that we finally received our initial deposit.
So, yes, we got our money back. After a lot of headache.
The fact remains that you’re terribly unprofessional, do not respond to emails, voicemails, or text messages. We received no compensation whatsoever from the unforeseen hassle that you caused us. Your apologies rang and still do ring hollow to me. You treated us like an annoyance and a bother after you failed to deliver a product that we reserved over 6 months in advance… for a wedding!
Consider yourself lucky that I didn’t take legal action. I’d have taken you for much more than a «refund» after the horrid service and lack of courtesy you gave us.
No one should use your company, you should be out of business, and you shouldn’t be servicing customers at a McDonald’s let alone a wedding rental service.
Now ask me how I really feel.

I had my wedding with Faleesha over a year ago. It was in Milton in a nice old colonial. I had a small wedding about 40 people and didn’t want to spend a ton of money on decorations. Especially decorations that I will never use again. I found BRWR in Craigslist and the prices were by far the cheapest around Beantown.
When I initially contacted her, she allowed me even to go to her place and see the pieces first hand before making a firm decision. Sometimes, pictures can only do you so much. Upon arrival, I saw that Faleesha and her husband were basically the only people running this company. It’s family run, her husbands makes all the tables and cute doors frames and accents in their back yard. I bought a lot, and by a lot I mean around $ 700 worth of tables, and center piece items and wheel barrels and over hangs. They even painted whatever you wanted on the top of the doors.
My wedding was on July 24, it was a hot and humid day. Her husband showed up promptly on time in the morning and even not just placed everything on the lawn but help us organize the placement of it all. It was a pretty big backyard garden and the wheels barrels and the 6 – 8 foot tables and bases were extremely heavy.
The following day, her husband came back withe the truck and loaded everything back up. He had no help with him.
I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. From starts to finished my experience with her was awesome. I felt like I got a real steal on the prices. You are not going to find anything cheaper in town.
They even offer, silverware, glasses, flutes, cake stands, ladders… and other little decorative items you might need.

Great selection, on time delivery, cooperative, flexible. What more can you ask for? Everyone at my wedding was oohing and aaahing at the décor, a lot of which was enhanced by the vintage collection of BRWR. I’m about to post some pics so you can check ‘em out!
For our August wedding, we rented a beautiful sail cloth tent, table decorations, plates, lawn games, linens, a ladder arch, and lots more. I changed my order a billion times, and Faleesha was very professional and prompt with responding and updating our order.
Faleesha even took items off of my hands at the close of the wedding, which made a do-​it-​all-​yourself breakdown much easier! A family business, with all hands in, where everyone worked hard on the delivery and pickup day… Is what you can expect from BRWR on your wedding weekend.

My experience with this company was terrible. We paid in full, upfront for furniture for our wedding — everything, from the bar to the tables to the chairs to the decorations. In the weeks leading up to the wedding I was unable to get Faleesha to commit to a specific time when they would be delivering everything — which made me nervous because we were unable to setup anything else until the furniture arrived (so we had a hard time coordinating with our other vendors). Eventually she threw out a date that didn’t work for us, as it was 5 days before the wedding and we wouldn’t have access to the venue. A few days later she wrote back and said she’d arrive the day before the event to drop everything off. Communication was spotty the entire time, her schedule did not seem flexible or even reasonable.
On the day Faleesha was supposed to arrive, I couldn’t get in touch with her. She never showed up — and I waited all day. I called many times (but her voicemail box was full so I couldn’t leave a message) and emailed repeatedly with no response. Finally, at 5am on the day of the wedding she emailed to say she would come that day with the furniture rental. When I immediately responded to ask what time, she cut off communication again. This was the last time I heard from her until after the wedding — but I spent that entire day trying to contact her, and eventually had to figure out an alternative plan 2 hours before the guests arrived. Working with Faleesha was the single most stressful thing about the entire wedding — I cannot emphasize enough how terrible the communication and customer service was from start to finish.
After the wedding, I received a long email from Faleesha explaining to me why she never showed up. She promised me a full refund — then for the third time, cut off all communication. After about a week of writing and waiting to hear back I eventually had to dispute all charges with my credit card company. I never heard form Faleesha again.
I can see other people had better experiences with her, while some people had a similar experience as we did. Bottom line, if you’re holding an important event you can’t count on this person to show up. Don’t take the chance. She’ll take your money and she’ll ignore you. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for whatever you need.

I’m a bit flabbergasted at the poor reviews up about Faleesha and her team. Our experience was phenomenal from start to finish and my only regret is I didn’t write this review sooner!
How can I put this… 4^th of July wedding in Bristol, RI — home of the oldest 4^th of July parade in America and notorious for being a traffic nightmare the entire weekend. Get the picture?
I stumbled across BRWR on Craigslist 2 months before the big day. My father was supposed to make us corn hole boards and giant Zenga but due to health reasons had to refuse. So I was looking for ideas when I saw their listing. I emailed Faleesha about the games (they have giant connect 4!) — the pics looked awesome and they were so reasonably priced!
Not only did she respond promptly, she was available by phone when I called and told her I wanted to rent not just games, but everything from them!
Mind you, we had already found other vendors (and I don’t know how familiar you are with Newport, RI pricing eeeek), but their rentals had the exact «rustic chic» but fun mien we desired for literally half the price and none of the attitude.
My interactions with Faleesha were professional, timely, and very pleasant. She works from home and has young children but that did not interfere with her work ethic.
BRWR was very accommodating of our wishes, they ordered more hobnail vases when my floral designer asked for more (they even allowed him to pick up the vases a few days early so he could start his arrangements!), they called and apologized when the chairs I wanted were back ordered and made suggestions that looked perfect the day of. Whenever my fickle brain decided it wanted something just a touch different, the exchange process was simple and the refunds prompt.
Faleesha and her team even came out to my venue a few weeks before the wedding to make sure our layout would work and that they would have the delivery details just right. They sent their truck out early to avoid all the holiday traffic, and my caterer/​planning team and floral designer (shout out to Fiveforks Farm Russell Morins Fine Catering!) had no issues at all working with them.
All their items were in tiptop shape from the story doors used as our ceremony backdrop, to the farmhouse tables, to the whiskey barrel bars, and everything in between.
From start to finish our experience was everything a bride (even a finicky detail driven one such as myself — no I was not a bridezilla) could hope for.
If I’m gushing, it’s only because they deserve the praise.

Boston Rustic Wedding Rentals was a pleasure to work with from start to finish!
Faleesha responded to my original online message by both phone and email. She answered all of the questions I had, explained contracts/​deposits clearly, and even told me they could make custom pieces that might not be on their website!
Everything they carry is beautifully crafted… and most importantly: budget friendly!!!
From the rustic bar and spool tables to the mismatched china and reclaimed wood dance floor They really helped bring my vision to life!
I definitely recommend them and hope to be able to use them again in the future!

DO NOT USE.
Booked 10 farm tables and 20 benches in February for my wedding in September, the Saturday before the wedding they were supposed to be delivered, no show, pushed off to Monday, then Wed, then Friday (the day before the wedding), still a no show, given nothing but weak excuses. The morning of my wedding, still no tables, no benches I start freaking out, I booked these 8 months ago this should have been planned and organized by this company by now. They finally get back to me and ask, «when is the ceremony starting» I told them they needed to be there by noon at the very least. Given a weak apology and told they were over four hours away and weren’t going to make it.
The only thing this company can do in a timely fashion is cash your check and your deposit. Had to work with my bank to get the final part of my deposit refunded, unfortunately that first chunk of money was paid in February and it is up to them to be a decent honest company and send me a refund check. The wedding was over a month ago and they haven’t managed to do anything to refund my money. They do not answer their phones, their voicemail box is full.
Do not use this company, they will ruin your wedding.
