A nice little reprieve from the busy patriot place. it’s only about ½ mile around, but with about 2⁄3 of it in the woods and the rest on a boardwalk it’s a really nice balance of shade and sun and natural and manicured environments. Look out for wildlife like turtles.

This was a cute little unexpected detour. I was on my way to trader joes to get some wine since the trader joe’s in rhode island are not allowed to sell two buck chuck, and I stumbled on this bog in the Unilocal nearby attractions. Naturally, since it was so close, I pulled into the parking lot and took a short little walk into the woods and found this bog. I think I liked the pond, better than the bog! The pond by the bog was just beautiful. There were even turtles on the lily-pads! I had never seen a turtle on a lily-pad. If you have kids or like nature you should pull in and just take a short walk to see the pretty pond and bog. It’s really a short walk to the bog, doesn’t take much time at all!

Very nice walking trail. It’s short, but that was fine for me and my three year old. We enjoyed walking around outside then went in for some lunch at the outdoor restaurant. Had a great time! Would recommend for something different to do

Little hidden gem behind the Patriot Place/Bass Pro Shop if you’re looking to kill some time. Do not, however, think it’s an actual hike. It’s short — less than ½ mile and no hills etc. Took my 2 yr old niece and it was perfect. There’s a cool firepit/sitting area at the top that I believe is owned by Bass pro shop… was not working while we were there.

This is a new walking trail behind Patriot Place that is about a half-mile long and loops around a cranberry bog. We saw a lot of turtles and frogs in the bog, and the scenery was nice. Certainly, not long enough to be considered a real workout, but I wouldn’t try the trail in my flip-flops that I wore shopping since most of the trail is mulch and there is an incline in some spots. Also, there’s a nice coy pond and seating area at the top of the trail.
