Worst experience I’ve ever had. Very painful and always pushing to buy something!!!

This was the worst dental experience of my life! I lived in Fountain, CO at that time.
I came to this clinic because my filling fell out hoping it would be a very quick process and I’d be on my way. I was not only new in the area, but new to America and was very ignorant to believe that any dentist I chose would be good.
After looking at it Dr. Hill said the filling couldn’t have been replaced and he had to place a crown. So I went with it. He gave me couple of numbing shots into the gum, which were extremely painful… I’ve never experienced anything like this before! Then he took the root out and shaped the tooth. The whole time he was rather rough and inconsiderate. I was very uncomfortable. He took the print of the tooth for the crown and placed a temporary crown. I had to come back in about 3 weeks for the new crown. I found it very strange it took so long, but went with it. In 3 weeks I came back only to find out that the crown didn’t fit, he caused me tremendous pain by putting the crown in and then taking it off. So he ordered a new one. In the meantime he was really pushing the clear braces Invisalign… which really got me wondering because I have almost perfect teeth and straitening never even came to my head. I told him no, I am pretty happy with my teeth, but he told me «Wouldn’t you want to be even happier? Because your teeth could be straighter.» I was really shocked. No dentist before suggested that I was in urgent need of straightening my teeth, especially in such a pushy way. I said no thank you I am happy with my teeth. I was told to come back in another 3 weeks. The temporary crown was horrible causing me pain. When I came back in 3 weeks I was hopeful to get a new crown finally, but after an hour of pain Dr. Hill kept me in by putting the crown in then pulling it out he identified that the crown wasn’t fitting again. This time he was pushing the the teeth whitening. I told him again I was happy with my teeth. I was told to come back in 3 weeks. In the meantime the temporary crown was keeping me in pain and discomfort and this doctor didn’t do anything about it. I went in for the new crown at the beginning of March’2007 and finally got it in May’2007. Almost three months this doctor kept me in pain! I’ve been to many dentists and was never scared of one because of how professionally and gently they worked! This one created so much dislike and animosity towards dentists that I didn’t use a dentist in America ever since! Always overseas when I go home overseas!
I didn’t fill like I was cared for, more like butchered! And then I paid approx $ 1,700.00 for the whole experience! I didn’t even get an apology, not even talking about discount for severe discomfort and pain.
Please avoid at all costs!
