I had the BEST 35^th birthday bash ever! My theme was a speak easy and they came ready to rock and pour specialty drinks that me and my friends thought up such as «The French Whore» or the «Bees Knees» and lets not forget the drink of the night «The Irish Jewel » … let me tell you they were not easy to make but great to drink and the bartender picked up on the mix and was awesome … not an empty glass in the place ! I would highly recommend this company for any personal party and company party! I might just throw another party just cuz so I can use them.

So Cal Bartender provided excellent service at our party. It was a mutual event, and I was nervous working with socal bartender. Its challenging to find someone who provides the level of value, and quality that they provided. When you call in you want to make sure you talk to Robert. He is the main guy there. He also does all their logistics work.
The staff arrived early, and they were very well organized. The bartenders worked well even though the crowd was a little bigger than expected. We did well, and the guests were very happy.
I would highly recommend socal bartender for any party. Great work, and I am very happy with their quality of work.

I was at my friends Wedding party yesterday and it was amazing and well organized. Not to mention that the bartender (Elizabeth) was so sweet and nice to the customers.
«Socal Bartender» are the best… they are knowledgeable and have their License!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. 1) the bartender asked me to stay on the phone with her for 15min. so that i could give her step by step directions to my house. 2) When my guests asked for a standard drink like a bloody mary, or a virgin mai tai, the «bartender» responded with, «ok. tell me what is in it and i will make it for you.». 3) it was clear to me she had never worked a bar before, especially when i explained to her that a virgin mai tai is a mai tai without any alcohol and she obviously had never heard the term before. 4). during the party she complained to my guests that she had to work 7 hrs. on the fourth of july (the date of my party). let me make it clear… i do not fault this woman. i am sure she was told she could make some easy cash with no experience required. i fault this company for selling me a service that they clearly did not provide. in all fairness, when i complained to robert he agreed to only charge me half, but this whole experience was a headache. i will not be using this service again.

I would recommend everyone to use HOT BARTENDERS Based in Los Angeles.
Here are the reasons why you’d wanna stay away from this company.
Called and spoke with Robert S. Week ago from today, he advised me that an email will be send for me to sign and fax.
I sign and faxed the agreement papers, sometime later that week.
Following morning Robert S calls me saying Sean I have a bad news your credit card declined for the deposit amount $ 78.00 I told him must be a mistake or a hold on the banking end try in 20mins after I speak with the bank. He said this isn’t good way to start doing business we can’t have your credit decline for such little amount what makes the company wanna do business you got to have money etc. I told him calm down and re-​try in 20 mins.
Robert said I will re try tomorrow morning, I said ok or you can re-​try again in 20. He said no tomorrow is fine.
I called my bank got the hold off.
Next Morning Robert don’t call I don’t hear from this man.
So at noon I called and said hey man what’s the deal did you run my card, do we have the ok? He said no I’m out of the office either I charge you in-​full or we don’t do business.
We can’t take responsibility knowing it declined before… I said ok go for it charge the full amount, but then I realized why would I even want give this company my money. I emailed and cancelled my event!
Knowing the day before he said I’ll run your card again for the deposit amount next morning. You never did mentioned to me im going to run your card for full amount next day! Your basically telling a customer you have no money I can’t trust you.
You lost my business. This company is horrible

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

The service is excellent, the drinks are great and the price is perfect! Robert S. came to our event on April 21; he showed up, set up the bar, and was ready to go ahead of schedule. He was personable and entertained our attendees. My attendees had great feedback and impressed with the wide selection of drinks. I will definitely use this service again for both my professional events and even personal events. Definitely a good number to keep if you plan parties and corporate events.

Socal Bartender helped me out with a holiday event in which I had very specific requests. They showed up on time, were professional, and interacted with the guests and myself quite well. I would hire them again without hesitation!

We contacted So Cal Bartenders for a Madri Gras customer event that our company hosted. Robert was professional and easy to work with. He followed up regularly before the event to ensure that we had everything aligned. When his team arrived, they were TOP NOTCH.
Our bartender Elizabeth was social and interactive with our guests and the young lady who helped us out in the kitchen, Kassidy, made sure that she educated herself on the dishes served so that she could easily and effectively answer all the guest’s questions. Even the set up team was friendly and efficient.
After the event Robert followed up to ensure that we had experienced the best possible service and that we were completely satisfied. He was on my phone or in my e-​mail inbox from start to finish and made me feel as if we were the only party that mattered to him at the moment.
So Cal bartenders was a big reason why our event was a huge success. Thank you so much to Robert and his fantastic team!

I had a private event for 250 people so I contacted SoCal Bartender and I can’t say enough great things about my experience with them.
Rob worked closely with me to make everything as easy as possible. They were prompt, professional, friendly and I HIGHLY recommend them. I will be using them for any events and parties in the future. My guest and I were completely satisfied with the level of service that Rob and his staff provided.

From time to time I build equipment used by Socal Bartender. It’s always a pleasure for me doing business with these people because they treat me with respect, and have always paid on time. From my experience Socal Bartenders does business with integrity.

We have booked SoCal Bartender for 2 events now and they have been beyond helpful in not only serving the event but also in helping figure out our needs. I would highly recommend them. Robert is great, organized, and honest. I really appreciated his input and advice about what type of service, drinks, etc. we would need.

Socal Bartender cancelled our bartending service 48 hours before our scheduled event, leaving us to scramble to find a bartender for a Saturday event, with over 150 people attending. Robert Spence, the scheduler/​coordinator we booked our event with was pompous and arrogant, which should have been a tip off. We ignored his truly horrible «customer service» and booked the event. Socal Bartender seems to think that cancelling service 48 hours before a scheduled event via telephone, and then following it up with an email is a good business practice — WRONG! If you are tempted to use Socal Bartender because of their low costs, resist the inclination to do so and pay a bit extra for an actual professional bartending company. Thanks Socal Bartender for adding additional stress to our party planning with your unprofessional conduct. We will advise every client we have in our company to NEVER use Socal Bartender!

After I posted this review, Robert Spence contacted me via email, with his attorney on copy, and advised me to «tread carefully» with respect to my posting a negative review on Unilocal.This was an obvious attempt to INTIMIDATE me into silence. The above-​mentioned review is a true representation of my experience with Socal Bartender — the bartender service we scheduled was cancelled with 48-​hours notice from Robert Spence, which has resulted in our having to find another bartender service for our community event, which 150 people will attend. This was unprofessional and completely inconsiderate. Apparently, Jill K, who posted on 4÷16÷14 was treated in the same manner as we were by Socal Bartender.

I wanted to have an open bar at our reception and after a quick search on Unilocal came across Socal Bartender and boy, oh boy, I’m so glad I did. Working with Robert on the booking and the logistics of the party was amazing. I dare you to try and find a more professional individual as Robert.
We opted for a bartender and a barback and even with over 100 guests, they kept the booze flowing and the crowd happy. Not only was the service great, but like a review mentions below, they made sure to clean up very thoroughly afterwards. Amazing customer service!
If you’re looking to hire a bartender, look no further. These are the people you should be using.

This is an update to my review below:
My husband and I were given a date to pay a deposit by and when we called to give a cc #, within the dates given, the told us they no longer had a bartender, leaving us to scramble. They are at fault. Period. We have a party and hire servers about once a month. Your loss. They may have skilled bartenders, but their customer service is terrible. Go elsewhere. Hot Bartenders LA for example — great company and customer service is superb.

I hosted a large birthday party last night at my house in Tustin. SoCal Bartender provided multiple bartenders for our party. The coordination and process to arrange for the service was easy & quick. All of the staff arrived early last night & assisted with setting up the tables and food service areas. They were friendly, professional and very polite even when some of my guests became a bit rowdy. I have used a number of other companies for my parties & I’ve never experienced such great service as I did with SoCal Bartender. I highly recommended using this service. I plan to use them again for a party I have planned for the end of the year.

The Christmas Holiday Party that we have every year at our home is a very big deal for our bookkeeping business. We use it as a springboard for developing deeper relationships with our clients, and retaining them for future business. I wanted to make sure that the bartender who they send to our home would create the right atmosphere for our party. I have to say that Anthony did an excellent job in meeting our expectations. He was very friendly, professional and prompt. We will use them again this summer, when we have family and friends come over. Great job!

We hired SoCal Bartender for my boyfriend’s birthday party last weekend. At first, we only needed one bartender, but we also decided to order a food server to help out in the kitchen. They showed up early, and brought all the supplies they needed with them. Matt was an excellent bartender, and made us amazing Cosmo martinis and Margaritas! They were both very professional and friendly to our guests. They worked well as a team to make everyone happy. My mom was really pleased that they cleaned up the entire area, replaced the furniture, and dumped trash for us before they left. Their customer service is the best I’ve ever seen.
