History

Established in 2015.

I have been taking photographs for over 8 years and have decided it is more than just my passion. I am a people person and love the wonderful interactions I get with my clients. As a nurse for 27 years, I have had the opportunity to see many amazing and breathtaking moments, and now I would like to capture those times with a photo.

I also love to volunteer as a photographer for Sea Crest Hospice and Pacific Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation to capture life’s precious moments in snapshot.

Diann is a photographer that really loves what she does, the proof is in her work. I recently, had a session with Diann for my second daughter’s newborn photo shoot. Diann started by explaining the process and was open to feedback from me and my husband. After an hour or so my daughter got fussy and was hard to work with. Diann suggested that it was time to stop so that my daughter can have a bottle. After calming down, it was back to work for the both of them. Needless, to say after an hour my daughter had an accident all over Diann’s studio. Diann was very understanding about the incident, told us not to worry about it and helped us clean up the mess. At the end of the day, the photos turned out great and my family has made new memories. I highly recommend Diann to anyone looking for newborn photos or just for any special event. Thanks again Diann!!!

Diann is an amazing photographer. She photographed my preemie newborn son and the photos turned out beautifully. She was extremely patient and spent several hours with us to get just the right poses. Thank you Diann for taking pictures of our baby twins. There were times when one of our twins were acting cranking but Diann understood the situation and took her time with us. I don’t normally write reviews, but I just couldn’t help but write one for Shots by Diann! I just recently graduated college and needed to have some graduation photos taken. I had looked around for a while to find a good photographer and that is when I found Diann. Let me first start off by saying how much of a delight she is! Her personality really made the picture taking experience a lot of fun. She had a lot of great ideas for poses. Also, the photos she took really allowed my character to show, while still maintaining an extremely professional look! I would definitely recommend her and look forward to having her take any future pictures for me!

Diann Verdugo is a wonderful and very professional photographer. My boyfriend and I wanted to take some couple pictures but we needed a photographer who we could have fun with and who would let us be silly.
