Safety Training Plus offers the following classes:

Basic — Hands only CPR

HeartSaver CPR /​AED for Adult

HeartSaver CPR /​AED for Adult, Child and Infant

HeartSaver CPR /​AED + First Aid for Adults

HeartSaver CPR /​AED + First Aid for Adults, Child and Infant

We offer classes for individuals, and both small group

(min 4 – 6 people) and large groups (15+ people). Courses can be arranged at your facility. Certification cards for these courses are usually issued the same day.

Safety Training Plus also provides more advanced courses specifically designed for the Healthcare Providers in a healthcare clinic, ambulatory or surgery center, or hospital setting.

Courses recommended for Healthcare Providers include

Basic Life Support (BLS/​CPR) for Healthcare Providers

Advanced Cardiac Life Support for the Experienced Provider (ACLS/​EP Course)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

History

Established in 1995.

Safety Training Plus Inc. is a company started in 1995 by John Verdugo. Safety Training Plus, Inc. is an AHA Training Site that is affiliated with RCPals in Anaheim, CA. Safety Training Plus, Inc. and their team of experienced instructors have been providing those working in the health care industry (providers, employees, and health care systems) using the American Heart Association (AHA) CPR, ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) classes. Safety Training Plus, Inc. Instructors are also certified to teach the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) course as well as MANY other health care related courses.

Business Owner

John Verdugo attended both East Los Angeles Community College and USC. He has been a CA licensed Respiratory Therapist since 1987. John has served in many positions within the American Heart Association, first as an instructor, then as Affiliate Faculty, and Training Center Faculty. In 2000 John was appointed as Regional Faculty for the Western States, and most recently was appointed to serve as the ECC Working Group Chairperson for Orange County/​Long Beach.
