I am so pleased with the care I’ve received at Orange Coast Eye Center. This staff is very helpful and professional and the doctors top notch! Can’t recommend them more. If you need eye care, this is the place to go!

Dr. Younger and his staff are fantastic! I would give them a thousand star rating if I could. The office staff is always courteous and most importantly on time if not early. The surgery was quick and totally painless with am unbelievably quick recovery. I would recommend Orange Coast Eye Center to anyone interested in lasik or eye surgery. In fact I would recommend Dr. Younger and staff fifty times over, to go anywhere else is foolish.

I have been going here for a few years and as I aged I needed surgery. Well I am so happy and pleased that I was lucky enough to come here, the office staff and assistants are AMAZING. The doctors are so caring.
Dr Younger was my doctor for the surgeries, I can’t say enough about what an amazing caring person he is.

This review is for my May 23, 2016 initial visit at the OC eye center, they’re professional except for the employee that did my initial assessment. She asked me for the reason of my visit, told her for annual eye check, your medical insurance doesn’t cover it. I told her that I pay vision insurance and my company only issued one insurance card for medical, dental and vision. Then she told me if you’re going to call your insurance, step outside the office. Don’t the billing department check for patient’s insurance for eligibility? After speaking with her I almost don’t want to go through with the eye exam. Hence the 3 stars, treating new patients that way is not acceptable.

They are always great here. Dr. Manzi is always good at explaining what is going on with your eyes and always answers your questions completely.

The staff at Orange Coast Eye Center was professional and easy to work with from the start. From checking in to checking out, it was a one seamless process. I even received the results of my exam without having to ask; which isn’t the case at other optometry offices! Their optometrist, Dr. Vu, was a pleasure to work with! She was prompt and provided excellent feedback to my questions. After the exam, I was directed to optical department. Lori, the optician, helped me pick out a nifty pair of frames and didn’t laugh at my zany choices! She was informational when needed and did not push me to purchase a pair. Their selections of frames are topnotch! From pricey handmade designer eyewear to affordable selections, there is a little bit of everything for your budget. Yes, this can be an expensive visit for someone WITHOUT a vision plan. If you do have insurance, I highly recommend coming here! They are the best at what they do! Not only do they provide optometry services, but also this is an ophthalmology center!
I initially had difficulty locating the office when I first arrived. It is located to the back building of this plaza, closer to Ellis Ave.

I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Vu. I’ve had glasses since the fourth grade so I’ve been to my fair share of optometry offices. This office was super clean with a very friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Vu took very good care of me, was very thorough in her examination, and did a great job explaining (loved your Lifesavers example!). I also was really impressed with their selection of glasses. I have been to offices where there was not a single frame that I felt fit me right and that wasn’t the case here. It took me a long time just to narrow it down to a few. Lori, the optician at this office, was incredibly knowledgable. Apparently, she’s constantly restocking the selection. Overall, I’m really impressed with this office and would be back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful new office — wonderful staff! They are so thorough and professional while still being fun to joke with. They take their time to fully evaluate your vision and the health of your eyes to ensure you will see «perfect» from any distance. State-​of-​the-​art equipment and a wide variety of frames to choose from, definitely recommend!

When my husband Joe P. found out he needed cataract surgery it took him over 2 years before he found a doctor he was comfortable with. That Doctor is Jared R. Younger.
From the first visit Dr. Younger and all the staff at Orange Coast Eye Center were very impressive professionally and personally easy to ask questions of. The technical equipment is state of the art.
The actual cataract surgery was a «non event », by that I mean the experience was as if nothing had occurred. Naturally he had the other eye done as soon as he could. The view at the Newport Bay Surgery Center is outstanding and all the Staff there is a reflection of Doctor Younger’s high standards.

I have been a patient at Orange Coast Eye Center for 12 years. The staff is friendly and professional. I see Dr. Manzi every 3 months for detailed exams. He performed laser surgery on my eyes last year with excellent results. The optician, Lori, always offers me the best advice for the newest eyewear. I often have a difficult time choosing the right frames, but Lori is always patient, and offers great suggestions. I highly recommend Orange Coast Eye Center for all your eye care needs.

Dr Manzi is very professional. The staff is also very professional. The office is elegant and the best in Orange County. Everyone is very helpful.

My mother and father both attend Orange Coast eye center. Dr Manzi and the staff are very helpful. My parents are older and they are taken care of every time they come in. My mother won a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses. Lori from the office was nice enough to let me pick them up for my mother due to her being ill. Definitely recommend Orange Coast eye center.

Dr. Younger is an amazing surgeon! I had a pterygium on my left eye that I waited 7 years to get removed. He did the surgery using a grafting technic which has a low revision rate. It’s been 3 months since my surgery and I’m so happy I did it. My eye is less dry and no longer red! I can’t thank Dr. Younger enough for being such a great surgeon.

Dr. Manzi is one of the best Ophthalmologists. I went to one prior to him and gave me no explanation as to why I having problems with one of my eyes. He just prescribed me medication for it.
When I went to Dr. Manzi, he went in detail as to what each medication was and what it did for my eye. He explained what was going on with it and factors that were why it was acting up.
Not only did Dr. Manzi did an amazing job, but the staff they have there is so kind and personable. They are friendly and easy to talk to. Dr. Vu was great with doing my eye exam and explaining everything to a first time contact lens user. Laurie was great with helping me figure out how to remove and put in my contacts. Their staff has a lot of patience and are willing to help me with ANY eye problem I may have.

My wife & I have been coming here for several years. Great eye doctors and great selection of eyewear. And the staff is the best

Dr. Younger and Dr. Manzi are super cool people. Dr. Vu – love her! She is thorough and very knowledgable. I ask a lot of questions and Dr. Vu explained everything I needed to know during each part of my examination. Their optician, Lori, fitted me with a great pair of new sunglasses. My local phở lady commented that I look like the Asian James Bond ;).
The staff here is warm and sweet as well. Great place to get your eye care needs.

I can’t recommend this office enough! It needs 10 stars. The office is large, clean and the staff are so friendly! Lori helped me find the perfect glasses! I have a progressive prescription, and I was very confused Lori took the time needed with me, she spent several visits patiently and lovingly helping me get adjusted. My frames are gorgeous, sparkly and fit just right. I get several compliments a day on my frames– they are so FANCY! I can’t wait to go back and get the sunglasses next!

I love this doctor’s office. The staff keep a tight ship. Always on time and orchestrated to provide service like clockwork around the office. I even get test results emailed to me the same day! The doc caught an arthritis feature in my eyes which tested elsewhere to be true. He even helped me find a good arthritis doctor. Plenty of parking. He doesn’t spend a lot of time with you so have any questions ready.

I would HIGHLY recommend Orange Coast Eye Center. I’ve worn glasses or contacts the majority of my life so I’ve been through quite a few optometrists. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here, especially with Dr. Jacqueline Vu. She was attentive to details, enjoyable to work with, had a wealth of knowledge and made the entire process stress-​free!
It’s a very clean and well-​kept facility with plenty of parking. It’s located in the back of a shopping plaza but quite easy to find with Google maps.
If you have needs for glasses or contacts, make sure to give the OC Eye Center a ring! And ask for Dr. Vu, she’s amazing!
