I rarely ever review, but I definitely had to give this place a 5 star review, Ed was my stylist and he did beyond an amazing job. The staff was extremely friendly and I felt welcome as soon as I entered the building, all in all I would highly recommend this salon.

I had not realize a month has went by already, it’s been a crazy month. It was time to pamper myself and get my hair done. I booked an appointment with Alissa and was really late due to traffic. She was very accommodating, told me to not stress and drive safely. I finally got there and was really happy with my results. Its worth the drive and traffic to see Alissa. I always head to Sonics after because why the hell not, it’s only an exit away. I was looking at my new hair color and notice that one of my white italian gold hoop earring was missing. I was freaking out because I couldn’t find it in the car. I call the salon and the owner let me know a stylist found it and hand it over to the front desk! I was elated. They were a present from my beloved, and meant the world to me. Thank you so much!!!

I’ve only gotten my hair dyed one other time before and was very nervous about dyeing it again (especially because the first time was not what I wanted)
But I saw some of Jamie’s hairstyles that she’s done before through her Instagram @hairbyjamieb and loved her work, so I scheduled an appointment for a balayage, slight ombré and I LOVE IT!!! Jamie was so sweet and polite and totally knew what I wanted when I told her what I was looking for. Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for an ombré balayage! :)

I’ve had my fair share of bad eyebrow waxing experiences. The kind that leave you hiding out at home for a few days till you get past the shame of uneven over-​plucked eyebrows.
Nyla at Ooh La La is my saving grace! If I can’t book with her, I would rather have bushy overgrown eyebrows than go to anyone but Nyla. ;)

Came here to buy shampoo and conditioner, people inside, side on door says they are open till 8pm. Blonde chic’r response it’s a holiday, sorry everyone left. Well your still here. Sorry I can’t sell you anything. Yet she has the ability to charge the people she doing color treatment and haircut. Hmm if you can charge them why can’t you ring me up for shampoo and conditioner. Must be a b… thing, no seriously. What’s even worse is that the owner Martin manufacturers the products, way to go staff on helping sell his products

I had my hair cut by Jamie. She was able to get me in on short notice. I hadn’t cut my hair in a long while and it was looking really dead… Jamie cut it, layered it, and curled it – it looked great!

I absolutely love this place!!! I went in and got my hair colored/​lightened up by Jamie! She did a FABULOUS job! She was very professional and skilled even being young. She had great ideas for my hair and took her time to make sure it was perfect. I love the way it turned out and she did a great job at helping me decide on what to do with my hair. She cut and styled it also and did a great job on that also. She’s a great stylist and being young, has a great new fresh way of looking at hair and gives great ideas and does great work! Don’t underestimate her just because she’s young, she’s very talented!

Have had my hair cut by Jamie several times. Always professional always clean always polite. The last haircut I had from her look the best the longest of any haircut I have had for the last 15 years. I will definitely be back again

BUYER BEWARE! This salon hires Martin Rodriguez as a hair stylist and colorist. Salon itself seemed decent enough but Martin Rodriguez who did my hair there burned my head and ruined my hair.
This was the single worst experience ever with my hair. I went in for highlights and came out with ORANGE hair, and even the orange hair was a different orange on top then on the bottom. It was so bad I couldn’t go out in public afterwards. I had to go to another professional Salon a couple of days later to do a color correction just so I could go out in public and will have to go a second time in a few more weeks to have the low lights put in because he just dyed it one awful Orange color. To make it worse he charged over $ 300 for this monstrosity and has the gall to call himself a professional hairstylist.
I’ve seen the other bad color reviews now on Unilocal and other places and inevitably he will respond to this about how he will do whatever it takes to correct his mistakes but when your hair has been destroyed by someone who advertises they are a professional and betrays your trust in them by not performing the service you hired him for, and to which he confirmed in writing he’d do, the trust is gone. I did notify him right after I left to let him know I was dissatisfied and initially went and set up another appointment to correct it with him, but when he said he could touch it up a little here and there, I realized he truly didn’t know what he was doing. He chose to use my hair to experiment his new technique on and when he messed up he couldn’t admit his own mistake because his ego was so big. My clue should have been that he learned how to do hair from a Jr. College. I had absolutely no faith that he could correct his mistake and there was no way after going through such a damaging hair treatment once with him that I would do it again. He also burned my scalp while turning my hair Orange.
I asked for a refund and didn’t get the decency of a response. Thankfully my bank reversed the transaction. His license should be revoked. I will be filing a complaint with the State Licensing Board next as I will have to pay at good $ 500-​$ 600 when all is said and done to correct his mistake.
Extremely unhappy client to say the least. If you’re looking for highlights or color from this guy, buyer beware! To add insult to injury youll be subjected to an hour and a half of bragging and boadting about himself. How he’s been doing this for decades, that no one knows anything eccept him when it comes to hair and how he teaches classes to hundreds of students. To think he’s teaching others his techniques is disheartening!

I’ve been growing out a pixie crop for a year, visiting great clips to get the back cut short when it reached the mullet.
It finally grew long enough to have cut into a cute bob and I decided to treat myself to a nicer salon experience than great clips, I wanted someone to actually wash my hair and blow dry it after not spray me down with a water bottle!
I was so happy to have picked this salon!
The owner was fabulous, she greeted me when I walked in and was so warm and welcoming I instantly knew I’d made a good salon choice.
My stylist, Ed, was great. The cut looks fantastic, and he was a lot of fun — had me laughing many times.
I’ll definitely be returning for all future hair cuts!

Today wast first time ever going to this salon! I went mostly because of these raving reviews, and man were these reviews spot on! I had a 9 am appointment scheduled with Alissa. She decided to come in an hour earlier just to cut my hair! She is this sweet bubbly lady who has been working on hair for 13 years. She washed my hair, gave me a scalp massage, cut my hair, and styled it. She left me looking and feeling like a million bucks! Everyone here is super nice. You’re greeted and assisted right away. Not to mention they offer you beverages from coffee, tea, and water. They even had donuts for the workers and the costumers, yum! This place is affordable and so great! Alissa really understood what I wanted and took the time to get to know my hair. She even took the time to cut my hair precisely and asked me questions as to how I like to style my hair. She also gave me wonderful tips. I highly recommend visiting this fine establishment.

I visited Ooh La La Salon & Spa for the first time today, and I’m very happy with my experience! The whole vibe of this salon is very welcoming and friendly. My stylist, Shelly, did an amazing job on my hair! She listened to what I wanted, and was able to suggest a gorgeous brown that goes well with my skin tone and makes my eyes pop! I definitely agree with everyone who recommends her! The salon’s pricing was very reasonable and affordable, too. I wish I’d tried this salon sooner! I will definitely be back!

My stylist recently moved to this salon. I can’t say enough positive comments about the salon or my stylist, Shelly! Shelly has been doing my hair for 15 years and I honestly can’t imagine her NOT ever doing my hair! She’s get with a good cut, but far better with style and color! She knows what works best with your face shape, hair type, and lifestyle. I can’t say enough good things about Shelly — she’s the real deal!!!

Came here for the first time yesterday, and had Julie Luu do my hair. All I have to say is Wow!!! She did a fantastic job! I had no idea what I wanted to do to it. I sat down and she told me about some different styles that would work well on my face and even had some pictures ready to show me. After discussing it, we chose a hairstyle, and she gave me probably one of the best haircuts I ever had. And the price was beyond affordable. Everyone at this salon is so friendly!!! I was greeted so nicely and offered something to drink. The place was very nice looking. Everyone was smiling and looked happy to work there! Julie is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable right off the bat! I am definitely coming back!!!

I have been going to see Linda Brannon at ooh la la salon for years. She does a great job on my hair and I keep going back. The salon is nice and all of the staff are friendly. I also like to have a glass of wine while I relax and get my hair done. I would recommend ooh la la for sure.

Well I came across Ooh La La Salon because of my super fabulous hair dresser, Julie Luu. I have been getting my hair done by Julie since the late 1990’s! The salon is always nice and clean and decorated nicely! The ladies at the front counter are always friendly and courteous, makes a big difference when the person greeting you upon entrance is nice. I can’t say enough about my hair dresser Julie, she is super! Easy to talk to and always gives you exactly what you ask for. Definitely love her but the salon is very nice and in a great location for me, close to work so I can swing by there for a fresh new cut or color before I head home.

Jennifer is absolutely wonderful! She gave me a great cut and my first color… A very natural caramel ombré that is absolutely perfect! This is even more wonderful because it was my FIRST visit and she understood exactly what I asked for!
I will absolutely be making this salon part of my regular hair maintenance and will be giving Jennifer my business! The price tag at the end was very reasonable as well :)

I felt very comfortable being at the salon. I was really scared and thought I was going to get my hair all cut off but Erin was great I didn’t even think about my hair. I left with a big smile. And will totally come back!!! Thank you Erin for making me feel I

Jenn is the rock star of hair and I’d give her 6 stars if I could!!!
Her attention to detail makes every appointment a great experience, and I always walk out looking like a million buck$!!!
Jenn really listens to what I want and will be completely honest and tell me if it will work for my hair type and face shape. She also confirms what I mean before she cuts so that I am confident that she «heard» me. Jenn also gives great suggestions on how to take care of my hair and gives the best shampoo and head massage too! My hair is thin but after she works her magic I get a ton of compliments which makes me feel FANTASTIC!
She’s talented, consistent, attentive, beautiful and lots of fun, and I will definitely be a loyal fan until the day that I die! *:)

Us girls tend to have extreme loyalty to our hair stylist — trust is KEY! Since my stylist was moving out of state, I was so nervous about finding a new stylist. After hearing such rave reviews about Jennifer, I made an appointment. I now hope she never ever leaves me!
Jennifer took her time during our consultation to become familiar with my hair type, texture, and style. She asked me a lot of questions to make sure that I was completely comfortable with her vision.
I walked out of the salon feeling like a million bucks. I definitely will recommend Jennifer to everyone!
