Mile Square Banquet Center

I would not recommend this place at all. We went their yesterday to look at their facility as a possible wedding reception venue and were treated as if we had zero business being there. 1^st, the blank stare we got from Anna since the time we arrived, set the tone for the entire visit. Being that we had an appointment set for more than a week, we were expecting at least some personality from the person who was potentially going to be «taking care of us» on our wedding day. When asked if we had seen their packages, and answering yes, we were handed a packet and were told «ok here». Not 1 ounce of motivation to sell us on aything or to show us the venue was shown at anytime during our visist. After a very brief overview of their packages, we had to ask if we could see the venue, never once it being offered from the sales reps who work for this place. Our overall visit lasted a whole 15 mins max and we were left wondering why we drove an hour to visit this place. To us customer service is key for any transaction we are going make and this fell very short of any and all expectations we had. Not recommended at all.

Our wedding was this past weekend 8÷15÷15, and we could not have been happier that we picked Mile Square Banquet Center. It is truly a hidden gem! We received so many compliments on the venue, staff, and delicious food catered by the venue. I can’t thank Darla and Ana enough for their attentiveness and patience (lol) for all of our requests. They made us feel special and important as clients. I would definitely recommend this venue!

We looked at a lot of venues for our wedding/​reception. I have played golf there for 25+ years and knew that the wedding garden was really nice. Darla & Ana were AWESOME. They helped us to realize the entire wedding/​reception experience that we imagined. They worked with us patiently and helped to create the experience that we had in mind. The entire affair came off without a hitch… ceremony/​food/​service facility were all top notch… everybody LOVED it. Thanks Darla & Ana… you girls rock! It was a PARTY!

I just had my wedding here this past weekend, and it was PERFECT! The ladies that work here (I mostly worked with Ana) are so amazing, friendly, and understanding. They will work with you and are very accommodating! The wait staff was so friendly, and they were very attentive to my guests. The food was delicious and all our guests loved it! Thank you so much, for helping make my wedding day very memorable!

Wow. Just WOW. Ana and the Banquet Center crew did an amazing job with our high school reunion! Not only did they accommodate a major last minute change (I’m not advising you try that yourself), but their service on the day of was impeccable and well liked by my classmates. What’s more, the food was DELICIOUS. She had told me that we’d be impressed by it, but I was hesitant to believe because the venue is perhaps the best deal, by seat/​meal, in all of Orange County. To that end, I sincerely recommend Mile Square’s Banquet Center to any major event’s planners/​producers. This was –by far– the best bang for the buck we could’ve asked for: beautiful, accessible venue with plenty of free parking, great food service, great food, and splendid venue administrators. Thanks again!

We just had our wedding ceremony and reception at Mile Square and had a great experience. Ana and Gina were awesome to work with and really responsive. The food was yummy and the banquet room was gorgeous. The only minor complaint I had was that after the ceremony, I was hoping one of them would have been present to direct folks to the banquet hall cause it got a little chaotic as no announcements were made, but other than that… I was super pleased with the event.
I’m an event planner, so I shopped around for the perfect venue and Mile Square was by far the best value for the quality venue and package they offered. Their bar pricing was excellent and saved us a ton of money considering we had a healthy amount of drinkers at our wedding.

Came here for my company holiday party; the banquet room that was rented for us was more than spacious enough for our setup with more than enough room for everyone to walk around and socialize. Service and staff was attentive and prompt in refilling water and tea and the food was simply delicious, there was plenty of it and everyone went up for seconds and thirds it was so good. All in all, a good venue and I hope we have our holiday party here again next year!

Gina was amazing. The venue was amazing. The food was amazing. The price was amazing. We had an awesome assistant named Matt on the day of who ran the music for the ceremony, opened the door to the hall, brought us our food, and carried messages, etc.
Gina had an excellent answer to every question, made it all work, and it turned out BEAUTIFUL for over half the price of many similar locations. The beautiful ceremony garden plus the gorgeous hall plus food, linens, tables, etc. were all included! I just really can’t say enough about them, they’re awesome and made us feel special!
The food was also amazing for much less than many caterers and locations wanted to charge. We had the Parmesan chicken with baked carrots. They also worked with us to have two gluten-​free meals for two of our guests.
When an entire table of our guests didn’t show up, they packed up all the leftovers for us to take home!

We just had an anniversary party here. The food was great and customer service was fabulous. Ana was wonderful to work with.

I attend a business networking meeting here every Wednesday and it really is the perfect venue. The room is professional, private, the acoustics are excellent, and the food service is first class.
We have a particular layout we want and they set it up this way every time. They can also provide projector screens, flip charts, display tables, and wireless Internet.
So why the missing star, well the only downside is they are really geared toward larger groups of 20 or more, (they can handle groups much larger), so if you are a small group on a tight budget, or just starting out, this location may not work for you.

The green looked good, the weather was great and the staff was friendly

We recently had our ‘West Coast’ wedding reception & we had a nice lunch at the Mile Square Golf Course to celebrate. The space was perfect for our celebration. The Mexican buffet we selected was delicious; we’re hoping we can use connections to get the recipe for one of the salads. It was sooo good.
Would recommend this venue for anyone who’s having a small event. I don’t know if they can cater to a larger party in the room we were in. We had 49 total & could have probably only comfortable had three more tables.
