I love this dental office! Courteous staff, timely doctors and the best dental hygienists! Ask for Cori! I’ve been going there for almost 15 years now. They know my name when I walk in and it’s usually a very relaxing visit.

Dr. O’Connor is the best! I had X-​Rays done at another dentist’s office last year. They told me that I needed 8 cavities filled, 4 wisdom teeth pulled and a root canal re-​treat. Without any dental insurance, it was a small fortune in dental work. I took my X-​Rays to Dr. O’Connor where he was able to determine which cavities were actually large enough to need to treat and which ones were small enough to just take care of and prevent any more growth. He also referred me to an excellent endodontist for the root canal treatment. All in all, he saved me a ton of money and really helped me understand what I needed to have done for sure and what was not needed. He seems to really enjoy his work too!

Joe O’Connor is honest and that says a lot here in California where there is so much fraud in dentistry. He is a great guy and really cares, but above all you can trust him. You have to have been through what I have to realize how important a good, honest dentist like Joe is.

Dr. Joseph O’Connor is the «Go To» type of dentist. He’s there to fix your dental issues, period. I didn’t get the «upsell tactic» that most dentists use these days. What a breath of fresh air! He’s like the dentist your Mom and Dad used to take you to. If you don’t have insurance, no problem. Just pay for whatever service you get that day.
I also overheard him while he was taking care of two young children, maybe 3 and 4 years old. They were scared at first, but he had a nice way of calming them down, so he could give them their check ups.
Great demeanor, helpful, no pressure, and the work he did for me was top notch. Give him a try, you’ll be glad you did.

Dr. O’Connor is absolutely wonderful. He has been taking care of my family for ages. My sister started going there, then me, then it snowballed into a family thing. He really takes care of you, and for those of us lacking dental care, he is always very conscientious of his patients’ financial concerns. He’s really great at doing cost-​benefit ratios, and is VERY straight-​forward. «You definitely need this, but you can probably hold off on this, etc etc». Really great dentist. He also took care of an overly panicked family member who basically had tobe coerced into going into the dentist’s office.

I’m one of those people who avoid dentists at all costs and only go when I’m in severe pain, well today was that day. Doctor Joseph O’Connor is my wife’s dentist and she was always raving about him, so I decided to go.
He was just awesome. I ended up needing a root canal (cause I’m an idiot and waited till my tooth got infected).
I like reviews to be like mini-​skirts, the shorter the better, so just go here and you won be disappointed.

Both Dentist are great husband and wife team are fab but the receptionist is horrible she can’t take a number down properly or make an appt… I was scheduled to come in she said I was not on schedule when I was so had to reschedule then she asked for a number I could be reached at so I give her my updated number just so she could call an old number and then pretend as if she never was given the new number… smh…I know I’m not the only person she has done this with… she needs to be replaced!!! Would of given five stars but for the receptionist I had to minus one star!:/

My entire family and I have been going to Dr. O’Connor since 2002 and his practice is THE BEST!!! Corrie is my hygentist and she is Awesome, his ENTIRE staff is ROCKS! I can’t say enough. good things. I had a mouth emergency today and Dr. Oconnor treated me the same day 30 minutes before his office was supposed to close… He squeezed me in, took care of me, and I was in and out of his office feeling good again. They are true professionals in his office, family oriented and truly care about you!
Highly recommended, and the BEST Dental care you can receive here in Orange County.

Love Dr. O’Conner. I started coming here almost 10 years ago now. I moved to Pasadena and I still come here! My children and I make the trek every six months. That is how good, kind, and not pushy he is. I swear so many dentists push unnecessary things on you. I can’t stand that. Good Dentist, good person.

I found Dr. O’Connor a few years back when I had a dental emergency. I have had several bad dentist experiences so I was a little hesitant.
Dr. O’Connor is great. For the first time, I’m not afraid to go to the dentist for two reasons: 1. He’s not a sadist and 2. I can still afford gas for the drive home after I’ve seen him. He’s friendly, his office staff is great, and Corrie, the hygenist is awesome.
A couple of years ago, I moved away from Fountain Valley but I still drive out there for my dental appointments. It’s worth it!

If you’re looking for a really good dentist who won’t try to sell you lots of extra services that you don’t really need, call Dr. O’Connor. His dental hygienist is great, too.
