I love dippin dots and so thankful there’s a location nearby!

These are hard to find unless you go to an amusement park. I love Dippin’ Dots but especially love this location, many flavors to choose from. They have great customer service as well, I’m not sure if the guy is a manager or the owner but once when I was in there some teenage girls were goofing off and one spilled her Dippin’ Dots EVERYWHERE but instead of getting annoyed with the girls he had the mess cleaned up right away and even gave her a new cup of Dippin’ Dots free of charge, it might seem like a small gesture but these days it’s hard to find any business that would’t have been a douchebag and made the girl pay for a new one herself since it’s her fault she spilled it, so I give 5 big stars for their kindness :)

I’m so glad that there’s a place to get dippin dots besides Knott’s Berry Farm around here. It is at a weird location, it might be hard to find. It’s in the plaza across the street from Costco.
I was helped by a young man and was able to try some of the flavors. He was very friendly. They have a much bigger selection than Knott’s. I ended up getting a small with the mint chocolate and java delight flavor. I’m glad I was able to satisfy my dippin dot craving.

I have a soft spot for dippin’ dots. The first time I ever had one was at Raging Waters and I’m a forever fan. So glad I don’t have to use the excuse of wanting to go to an amusement park just to enjoy some dippin’ :)
Don’t miss this if you have a sweet tooth like I do :)

maaan this place is hard to spot if your from outside of the city, came here and ate my beloved dippers… didnt even know they had their own shop thought they only slanged dem dots at amusement parks and whack-​ass malls.
Had strawberry/​choc combo large cup for a lincoln, and a small size for the mrs. for like 4 bucks.
9 bucks but gotta have it G.
Loud as FUCK in here with screaming kids… even around 7.30pm on a saturday night, ate and finished just before my migrane kicked in from the lil’ bastards.
Good shit though… as always.
A bit filthy, a bit ghetto, and butt-​crack tiny place, but its all good once dem dots sliver down my throat… ooohhhh yahhh beeeaaattccchhhh!!!

Dippin’ Dots is located in a small center off New Hope & Euclid and is easily missed. Outside of the location I really enjoy coming here. The prices are affordable and the product is delicious. With around 20+ flavors to choose from or create your own mix & match combo there truly is something for everyone. The location is small but does feature a couple small tables inside to eat. All in all a great place to pick up a quick dessert or ice cream treat.

For the first time, I’m so glad there is something worthawhile living in FV.
I love desserts, especially an ice cream!
Dippin’ Dots is nearby the complex plaza across from FV Costco Plaza.
I’m just happy that I don’t have go through overcrowded amusement park just to get my goodies!
I always, ALWAYS get Banna Split! It is just amazing, right amount of banana flavor vanila, bits of srawberry& chocolates!
Service wise– I’m greeted right away soon as I open the door. The staffs are very friendly and atentive!

You mean to tell me I don’t have to pay some sort of theme park admission in order to enjoy some delectable and fun Dippin Dots? Hell yeah I’m in!
This location features like 3 different sizes and a bevy of flavors that you can mix and match if you’d like.
I cannot sing the praises of this place enough. It’s not just nostalgia that brings me here… I mean I thoroughly enjoy the Ice Cream and how it’s presented too!
Parking in this strip mall lot can prove challenging at times, but I’m sure with the downfall and leaving of that popular fish spot (Fisholicious) nearby then parking should be easier now!
There are a couple of tables inside, but how many dessert places tend to have a lot of tables anyway? I have been lucky and have had no problem finding seating when coming here. I find it especially important to have seating here since it is ice cream and I don’t want it to melt by taking it somewhere!
All of the employees I’ve ever worked with when coming here have been so incredibly nice and welcoming.
I could not push this place enough!

Wait what, there’s a Dippin’ Dots that stands by itself and isn’t inside a themepark? Flippin awesooooome.
I tried these Dippin’ Dots that were dipped in with chocolate, and they cost a little more than the regular dots, but were freakin’ amazing. I’ve never seen those at a themepark dots stand before, so they were pretty new to me.
Also, the sheer variety of a standalone location was astounding. Dot floats? Awesome, half n halfs, cakes… wow. Just cool.
This also reminded me how much I miss this ice cream, and may have to go back to get more!

Oh how i love dippin dots! This is such a tiny place and this was my first time here! I’ve always gotten dippin dots at amusement parks and they are always so expensive with very few selections on flavors. This place has very little seating but hey, be a kid and sit outside on the curb ;) Anyways, got here around 5 and there were no lines! Came in and had some samples because we were so indecisive of what we wanted. You can choose any flavors and mix them as well. We chose the cookies and creams as well as the java one! Love coffee and love oreos! Make sure to lick your lips a bit because the dots my stick to your lips and hurt! ;) We got the large and it was about $ 4.75
NOTE:
–They give samples, just ask!

I took my kids here a few weeks ago because I was craving ice cream and hadn’t had Dippin Dots in a long time. It was not a good experience…
The floors were filthy, all of the mini fridges and freezers were empty, and it just didn’t taste like it did when I was a youngster getting them at Knott’s. And it’s just way too expensive in my opinion. The chocolate shake was really disgusting.
Rite Aid would have been a way cheaper and much tastier choice.

I fell in love with their new invention @ Knott’s Scary Farm about 2 – 3 years ago:
Their vanilla dippin’ dots w/​root beer = uh-​maze-​zing root beer float that fizzles in your mouth and even as it travels down your esophagus!!!
… AND I was ecstatic to know that there was a location down the street from where I live!
ZOMG!!! Woohoo! AND… you get to pick up to 3 flavors for their largest cup.
. Favorites: Neopolitan and Mint Chocolate.
Tip: They also have a discount card, where you can buy 10 get the 11^th one free!

Who knew you could find a favorite fair treat outside of the fair!
The good:
–this place isn’t crowded at all. There isn’t too big of a line ever.
–flavor selection. you get choices I never though had existed: sorbet flavors, cookies and cream, mocha, cookie dough etc. flavors you haven’t seen at the fair, but exist! So if you’re a big fan of dipping dots, this may be your haven.
–there are a couple of other food places in the plaza so you can go eat and then have dippin’ dots after! (greek food, fish place, panda, phở)
The not so good, but is not a deal breaker
–no place to sit! It’s more of a run in, get your ice cream and go type of place. If you want to hang out, there are a couple tables, but not many.
–the hours, this place doesn’t have super extended hours, but is understandable given the neighborhood that it is in (mostly businesses, so regular business hour hours is a given)
–parking lot can get a bit crowded, but you’ll always manage to find a spot even if it is in the farther end of the parking lot
The Bad.
–The price! I feel like for a little cup, it nearly costs $ 5 … which I may be more expensive than what they charge you at the fair. This is why I knocked it down to 3 stars.
This place is an awesome novelty to have whenever you’re feeling nostalgic about your younger years at the fair. is it a place that I’ll go to every week because I simply crave it? perhaps not, but it’s a rare and unique treat that you should try at least once!

Came here near the time they were closing and all the flavors I wanted to try were all gone (neopolitan and banana split)!!! I’ll have to come back and try out those flavors next time.
In the end, I bought a jumbo large for $ 5.85. The cool thing is you’re able to mix and match different flavors. The limit depends on the size of the cup you order. A jumbo large can hold 6 different flavors.
With whatever flavors were left, I chose mint and chip, chocolate, and vanilla cappuccino. The server sort of gave me different proportions of each flavor (I was hoping the three would get about an even amount of space, but mint and chip took up half the cup). But that’s not a deal breaker. All the flavors were true to their name.
The thing about dippin’ dots is that they are fun to eat. They are fun to scoop with the spoon. It is fun having all the dots roll around in your mouth while you’re waiting for them to melt. They are just pure fun in ice-​cream form.
Don’t forget! They have a stamp card, as well!

After our Fish-​O-​Licious lunch, we stopped by Dippin’ Dots located a couple of doors away for dessert. We ordered a large chocolate chip cookie dough and a medium reese’s pieces for around $ 8 + change. Both flavors were refreshing and yummilicious. The nice owner told us he had the last Dippin’ Dots store in OC. I hope he stays in business so that I don’t have to wait for the OC fair to come to town for some dots.
Dippin’ Dots provides friendly service, a clean store, and delish dots. 5 Stars

I can’t tell you how many times I have driven past this place on the way to my bf’s house. I finally went into Dippin’ Dots this past Sunday because the weather was HOT HOT HOT and this was the closest ice cream shop nearby.
PROS:
1. Conveniently located right off the fwy. If you are going 405N, exit Euclid, go straight, and Dippin Dots plaza is on your left.
2. So many flavors! It’s great that they let you mix and match your flavors.
3. Their Neopolitan ice cream was awesome! Loved the combo of strawberry, vanilla and chocolate. It is such a refreshing flavor on a hot day. A small cup is $ 3.85.
4. Love how the ice cream is bite sized. Honestly, what’s not to love? They are so cute and I love melting them in my mouth.
5. Owner of the shop tweeted me and thanked me for my check-​in at Dippin’ Dots. Haha awesome! Tweet tweet.
6. Service is very efficient and friendly.
CONS:
1. There aren’t enough seats! It was a Sunday afternoon, and a good handful of people had to stand around the store to eat their ice cream.
OVERALL:
I can’t complain much, Dippin’ Dots is delicious, so why wouldn’t you stop by to try these frozen goodies? You can also find them at the fairs if you can’t make it out to the Fountain Valley location.

It’s in a tiny restaurant strip mall across street from Costco. Inside is clean but tiny. There’re a few tables inside — a table for kids, too. It’s not just dippin’ dots — they got drink menu as well. Oh, I didn’t know they got a birthday cake (of course made from D-​D) and D-​D sandwich. Nice service ;)

I love D-​D! I could get it @MacDonald right in front of Disneyland before but not anymore ;(LA Zoo has it but it’s too far away from me. It’s really nice that I can get it not so far away from me. It might be a bit pricey but it worth it ;) Ice cream and Fro Yo are kinda overrated — inventor of D-​D is a genius!!!

After a cruel act of give’th and take’th away, I yearn for the taste of these delightful little frozen cracksnacks.
They demoed these on 3^rd Street and Venice Boardwalk years ago, and since then, I have NOT been able to find them. I’ve been to carnivals, fairs, and all sorts of freakish Japanese ice cream shops, thinking «Oh, if anyone would have them, it’s this place.» :(
Still, I recall with fondness how AWESOME these things were. Maybe it’s time to make the haul out to F/​V, just to gank some Dots. ((stroking chin in thought))
