You’ll love this one. I signed up for a two year contract with Cox to lock in my price. One year later, I get bill in the mail and my monthly charge went up $ 30.00. When I called, I was told that I originally had a promotional price and that has expired, therefore my price is still going up even though I had agreed to a price freeze for 2 years. I guess integrity in business is gone…

I’ve been told now four days in a row that a tech will come out to my house to turn on my internet. Every time i call in they swear he’ll be there today. Why do i still not have internet? I hope the city of Tustin boots Cox as their provider. I would prefer any other provider.

Service used to be terrific. Now it is terrible. Whenever there is a service issue, they refer you to their «tech solutions» program which charges an exorbitant fee and a yearly contract. Such a shame that they have gone to a profit-oriented company instead of customer oriented. Shame on them!

I’ve never experienced such fast service before. Since our home has been pre-wired for Cox Communications, we naturally went with them when we wanted to install cable/internet/telephone. The guy came, hooked up the box, the modem, went to the box in the closet and connected some cables and VOILA we were hooked onto cable within 5 minutes. FIVE MINUTES. AMAZING!
When we had DirecTV before, it took the guy 2 hours! Okay I mean he had to get a signal through the satellite and all, but 2 hours??? Right now I’m just waiting for the modem to finish initializing. The guy told me it’ll take about 20 minutes, so another 5 – 7 minutes to go.
This is seriously great service!
