This guy has very poor follow up skills. He will not communicate not call back and leave you hanging in the dark for days. literally he has disappeared from a 3 bathroom remodel in Corona Del Mar. Horrible just horrible.

Travis solved our mystery leak. I am kicking myself for not calling him in the beginning. He has previously remodeled our kitchen, updated our fireplace and replaced windows. Everything was completed on time and within budget. He is very creative and came up wth some great suggestions for the kitchen.

The quality of work, knowledge, price, and reliability were outstanding. I very highly recommend them.

Do Not Use Andrews Construction. I found him on Unilocal and was deceived by the good reviews. I was doing a bathroom remodel which required moving walls and installing doors, so I intended to use Andrews Construction for most of the work. After part of the framing was done (not everything that was included in the quote) and he was paid, he never showed up to the job site again nor did he answer any of my calls or texts. Of the work that he did do, I ended up having to fix most of it. Here are some things I had to fix: support beam was held in place with screws instead of proper bracketing, no doors were the proper width, pocket door framing had to be redone because the opening was 6 inches too low (for both doors), did not provide anchor supports for glass shower doors, all of his cuts were short leaving gaps in all the framing and used scrap wood instead of buying new which made everything look bad and nail ends were sticking out all over. He also would leave a mess in the house; leaving me to haul away his building materials. To make things worse, when removing a beam, he put TWO LARGE HOLES in my roof which caused my upstairs and downstairs bathrooms to FLOOD resulting in hundreds of dollars in damage. Once again, I called him repeatably to come fix it, but no response. The other contractors working on the job confirmed his poor craftsmanship and skill level.
I highly recommend never using Andrews Construction, as it was the worse experience I have had with a contractor. After reading this review, please read the initial post by «Michael C» as it sounds like we had similar experiences.

Called Andrews to bid on removing some walls to open up a room. They showed up on time and finished in two days. The price was fair and they did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves. I will defiantly use them for future projects. Thanks Scott and Travis!

Located Andrews Construction on Craiglist, did my due diligence after speaking with Travis and decided his company was the best option. They installed 4 interior doors and one fire safety door. I was immediately impressed with their communication, on time arrival, pricing and attention to detail and outstanding quality. I would not hesitate to reach out for any of their services … If I could rate 10 Stars, I would!

Update, he responded to me afer I left my review on Unilocal.
He came and fix the light as well as putting the exhaust fan cover on the outseid of my house.
Upgrade to 3 star for showing up to fix his mistakes (although it was a month late)

I needed a new sliding glass door installed at my house, and a friend of mine referred me to Andrews Construction. I couldn’t be happier with their work! Everything looked great, so great that I have called him back for more jobs since then.

These fellas remodeled my kitchen with complete professionalism and beautiful finishes. Were on time everyday and stayed on budget. Highly recommended!

I found these guys by accident. I contacted Steve Houston on craigslist and when i went to check him out, it lead me to Scott and Travis who said that he had been defrauding people using their name… that’s what happened with the first reviewer.
ALWAYS CHECK OUT YOUR CONTRACTORS
Scott and Travis have been great to work with on my whole house rennovation. Extremely fair on all of their pricing, they stick to the schedule and the payment schedule. Everything is done right, no corners have been cut… in fact they have done several things without chrging me extra simply because it’s easy enough to do now… why not just do it.
I will be hiring these guys for more work.
