Everyone always comment on how cute my dog, Roxy looks after her bath and haircut here and I agree! Michelle is amazing! She is so good with Roxy! Only Michelle and her staff can trim roxy’s nails and hair! I love this place! We’re a regular!

I completely trust this groomer! She has always treated my dogs nicely. She is fast, so your dog doesn’t have to sit long waiting to be picked. I have recommended them to my friends who have all been happy!

Love this place. I’ve been going here for many years. Michelle is really nice and helpful and always does an amazing job on my dogs.
Bring your pets here early because they get super busy. They are usually packed by noon so bring your pets here asap in the morning.
Haircut for my dogs are usually about $ 50 each including getting their nails trimmed. I get charged another $ 5 because one of my dogs is a bit hard to handle but I’m fine with the fee because I always love how they look when I pick them up.

We rescued an abandoned Maltese and they cleaned her up real nice! Check out the picture I posted. She doesn’t even look like the same dog! She was all matted, dirty, full of fleas and oil. She was probably in the streets for months. My husband and I decided to rescue her and foster her until we can find someone to adopt her.
We usually take my dog Taco here too. I’ve always come in via walk-​in because it’s always random when we want to get Taco groomed. Prices are very reasonable and you get a bandana and bag of dog treats on your way out.
They even wash the dog’s collar and lay it out to dry out front. I would definitely recommend this spot for all my friends and family.
Grab lunch at Kellys donuts in the same Plaza. The fries are delicious!

My dogs love this place and the owner is so sweet and helpful. Probably the most reasonably priced pet grooming salon I’ve ever been to. She always explains how the dogs were and they’re always done in a timely manner. I would recommend and have recommended them to all my family and friends. I moved 45 minutes away and I still make the drive to bring my dogs there.

This is truly a spa experience for my four legged family members… I see the little pep in their walk when they realize where we are. That little smile on their faces when they walk through the door.
And when they’re picked up… It’s as if you’ve walked into their heaven. They smell and look unbelievably clean… And to top it off they are blissfully happy!
All in all both owner and pup gives alley dog and cat two thumbs up!!!

Just moved to FV a month ago after dealing with a long illness and eventual passing of my mother. Was scared to death to leave my 14 year old Shihtzu Dexter with a new groomer. Alley Cat and Dog grooming put me at ease and did a BEAUTIFUL job on him! Thank You!

Forget about the corporate, big box establishments that’ll charge you an arm and a leg for your follicles. I’m so glad I found this hidden gem where I can get the same fresh cut fade, if not better for ½ to ¹⁄₃ of the price of a bougie-​upscale salon. But wait, there’s more! Hot towel neck rub comes with the package and I’m out the door spending a cool $ 11 WITH tip. Even better, I’ve had every barber fade up my dome and they’ve all done an awesome job. Minimal wait, quick, clean and inexpensive cuts. This place has me sold (can you tell?).

The owner is so nice and she greeted me as soon as I entered the store. I love how you can drop off your pet and come back after a couple of hours. When I picked up my dog he was soft, fluffy and white! He also seemed very happy after his visit. I’ll be sure to take him back for his next grooming!!!

The lady who works here was very nice. However it was extremely loud for my poor cat and she also got a weird skin rash afterwards. I am now just going to groom her myself.

Michelle is amazing. Love the service, love the cute little bandana my son walks out in, it makes him feel fancy ;) If I can give Alley Cat and Dog Grooming higher than a 5, I most definitely would. Brixton has now became a regular. I highly recommend this place!

This place is absolutely amazing!
I worked in a vet hospital for quite some time (won’t mention where), Michelle and her staff surpass what we would accomplish.
Full service, from ears to anal glands, they make your pup look and feel marvelous! I’ve been to many different establishments, whether work or customer but have never been so pleased. Quick service, along with detailed! Usually that combo is hard to come by, but it comes naturally at this place!
I suggest anyone who loves their pets to come on by and try it out for yourself! You can’t beat the service, staff or your pups experience!

I’ve been going here for 6 years at least! I love, and I mean LOVE bringing my little pug here.
Every Time I bring my pup in, I’m always greeted by the owner and she genuinely shows that she’s excited to see my little guy! Since day ONE she’s been like this, and hasn’t changed! I’ll always bring my little guy here…
I usually take him in in the AM and will pick him back up in the PM, it works for me so that I could run some errands!

Been wanting to check this place out forever now. I have a mini English bulldog by the name of Brixton. He’s currently 8 months. He was delayed on getting his shots. Once I finally got the shots done, (I kept forgetting to have them handy to provide Alley Cat with to get him to utilize their grooming service. They’re by the book. Have your shots ready to provide upon your first visit!) I gave them a ring to see if there was availability to bring my baby in. I spoke with Michelle, she was very friendly on the phone. She told me to swing on by.
Once I got there she was babying him even more than me! Taught him to walk in without force (so he’d get used to it). I left him and ran some errands. Before I knew it, I received a call, Brixton was ready for pick up.
Came back to my baby. He was surprisingly not scared at all. She had him in the cutest bandana and walked him out to me. Told me how well behaved him was and asked my permission to give him a treat and if I wanted cologne for the road. After treating him, she packed him a goodie bag to go and we were off.
Brixton is so clean and smells so good. I can’t stop sniffing him! Ihis bad breath is even gone. All the treats that help I’ve bought don’t even do that! I lalalalove the quality of his care and grooming provided. I will definitely will be returning and recommending Alley Cat to others!
Before dropping off Brixton I warned her he is not a fan of blow drying. When I blow dry him at home or even blow dry my own hair he freaks out! Barks and runs. When I left I asked her how he did with the blow drying. Apparently, he was super good and didn’t freak out in the slightest. She wouldn’t have known. I asked if it bc it didn’t resemble a blow dryer. She told me it’s industrial grade more similar to a vacuum. What?!! He freaks out more at our vacuum at home. Weird. Obviously, they’re doing all the right things.
Oh yeah, otw out the door she mentioned she washed his collar for me too. Definitely deserves the five stars. Best of the best here. Wonderful experience indeed! Thanks once more Michelle and staff! Brixton will be seeing you soon!

Sue P should take a chill pill. As you can see, her last 5 reviews were nothing but one star bitter experiences. If you don’t like someone, just take your business elsewhere. No need to ruin it for everyone else who has had nothing but good experience with Michelle. I’m sure she’s relief now, now that you finally found a groomer that would put up with your snobby attitude. Living life like the world owes you.
Michelle is wonderful! I have a white shepherd that loves Michelle. She cleans him like no one else does.

I read the reviews on Unilocal for a few different groomers and decided to bring my dog Zoey (Boxer/​Great Dane mix) here for a grooming. All I can say is WOW! The service and prices here are top notch, and my dog can be a pain in the ass! I decided to go back and read some of the negative reviews to see what the complaining was all about. And here’s what I have to say to some of them:
#1. To the people who complain about the different closing times: Yes, Alley Cat is a FIRST COME/​FIRST SERVE business! Therefore, the closing time changes EVERYDAY! If they have 20 dogs in, they might close at 2pm… If they have 60 dogs in, and you came in at 12pm, your dog might not be done until 4pm or 5pm. And if they tell you your dog will be done by 2pm, it is their best GUESS. It’s also designed so you come back to pick up your pet as quickly as possible after it is finished so it’s not sitting in a cage any longer than is absolutely necessary (especially important for older pets)!
#2. To the people who claim their «baby» was mistreated: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and first of all, for many pet owners, their pet is like their child… Everybody thinks their child is the perfect little angel, and nobody wants to be told their child (or dog) is a bad boy. I know my dog acts completely different for me than she does for other people, especially for someone who has just brushed her with a wire brush, hosed her down, cut her nails, and brushed her some more! I’ve given my dog a bath at home, and I can tell you, it is NOT easy. She squirms, she wiggles, she Unilocal and cries. I suspect that if washing your dog was easy, you would not be paying someone else to do it for you. I also know that the staff at Alley Cat is not in the business of hurting your dog. If they were, they would not be as popular and busy as they are on a consistent basis.
In closing, I was completely happy with the service, the price (especially the price) and the way my dog was taken care of. I will most definitely be back again, and for all the negative reviews, I say many if not all of them are most likely an exaggeration or written by someone who has no idea how difficult and unpredictable full service grooming can be.

Heard about this place via word of mouth. This place is only on a first come first serve basis. The times I’ve been here I did not have to wait long. The workers are friendly and their service is okay. Cheap prices for grooming though!

Love michelle and staff. After trying several local groomers, my white german shepherd only smells clean and fresh at ac&d. They take care of my rex like nobody else does. They are very knowledgeable about all their breeds and offers advice at no charge. Where else can you go that cares? I’m a customer for life.
