I am another adult that Dr. Bobby helped through the process of having braces. I was hesitant about getting braces since I work in a professional environment where I interact with clients to sell my company’s services as well as manage associates. I didn’t want to feel dumb or self-​conscious when I spoke. Dr. Bobby helped me deal with my reservations with lots of information and support.
I now have a smile that I’m more than satisfied with and keep it that way with a permanent retainer on my bottom front teeth and a night guard/​temporary retainer on my top front teeth. I see Dr. Bobby every 6 months for incidental things like tightening the wires on my night retainer or checking the glue on my permanent retainer. Maybe some orthodontists would treat my conscientiousness as a nuisance but Dr. Bobby and his staff are always professional, welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Dr. Bobby always has a smile on his face and I leave his office pleased with my experience.

My husband and I finally decided it was time for us to perfect our smiles! We interviewed several orthodontists and Dr Shemirani’s approach and our first meeting with him just felt right. We started treatment with him and considering that we are in our 30s and 40s, Dr Bobby and his staff made this experience worthwhile. They accommodated our appointment needs (we live one hour away from their office), they were always on time, very friendly and always explained procedures in detail. Now 1.5 years later, our braces are off, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. We are so glad that we chose Dr Shemirani for our orthodontic needs and we will definitely recommend him to anyone around us who needs to consult an orthodontist. Overall, as uncomfortable as braces can be, this was an absolutely wonderful experience and that is thanks to Dr Shemirani and his staff.

Please read all the original negative reviews before you decide to choose this office. Just had a HORRIBLE experience here and regretted that I hadn’t looked up online. I experienced everything that the others complained about. The boss, who seems to take his service as business not treatment, is very RUDE, IMPATIENT and UNPROFESSIONAL.
He turned away while I asked him questions. He said «Your bite is perfect; your feeling is wrong and ignore your feeling» while I suffered an unbalanced bite with molars on one side not closed and serious sores in my mouth caused by the asymmetrical braces. He lied to me when he was impatient to explain to me: I asked him «are we doing???» He said «yes» impatiently although later on I found out that he wasn’t actually doing it. He got nervous and changed his attitude when I commented on his poor communication after getting the braces for only a few months. However, he started to repeat his old patterns towards the end of my treatment and seems not to care anymore because by now he has got the big money in his pocket. After 17 months’ «treatment» I still had a misaligned mid-​line and unbalanced bite. I asked him «What are you planning to do before finishing the treatment? He said RUDELY and IMPATIENTLY «Nothing!» «Your feeling is wrong and I am professional!» He refused to fix the problems, which later on was seen not only by the other orthodontists but also my friends and colleagues. He CARELESSLY put rubber bands on my braces and tried to end the treatment just for the sake of making it ~18 months in total. Now after 17.5 months I have to start another long journey getting a 2^nd treatment in a different place to make things right. Last but not the least, the boss judges people by face/​accent and decides on his attitude depending where you are from: he could be very nice to people from certain countries…
I also asked a person in the lobby if she liked it here and she shook her head and said she definitely wouldn’t take her son here after her daughter’s unhappy experience. Through the recent research, I learned that there were many good orthodontists around the area with reasonable charges. You deserve a good treatment and attitude by paying a few thousand dollars and suffering for 1 – 2 years. ~Original unimportant sentences here were deleted to make space for the following edits~
I’d like to follow up on the business owner’s response to the above original review as follows. IRRESPONSIBLE is the new insight I would like to add to the practice in this office.
1. «YOU TOLD» doesn’t necessarily mean «IT IS». «On a few occasions, you have asked me to move your teeth in a manner that would make them misaligned. «This statement only makes sense when you refuse to take responsibility for the poor quality of work and service that you provided. Expertise is something that’s recognized by others not by oneself, which can be in high or low quality. FYI, 2^nd opinions were sought in the middle of treatment. I repeatedly tried to get better communication from you for better treatment but as usual, you were impatient and unwilling to listen or explain.
2. You are being unprofessional and irresponsible by saying «I don’t think you are being truthful». Please don’t assume that others have the same lack of integrity as you. I wasted a lot of money and time in your office already so it would be ridiculous for me to show evidence just to prove that you were ridiculously wrong. I propose that you 1) return all my payment if I did see other orthodontists or 2) keep my overcharged refund if I didn’t, meaning you get all my payment. Please don’t try to find any excuse or distort my words to dodge your responsibility.
3. You are distorting my words to make yourself look good by saying that I would retaliate by writing a negative Unilocal review if you don’t give me a refund. «Asking for a refund» and «writing a negative review» are my two parallel action items for the same reason — the poor service and attitude provided by your office. Their relationship is not reason and result. Fortunately there is something called RECORD. I would be happy to let public know what really happened during my 10 min conversation with your Treatment Coordinator.
In addition, you know that this was not the first time that I wanted to give you a negative review. I suggested it to you for the 1^st time last summer due to your lack of patience and communication. At that time I gave you a warning about it not to embarrass you in public and hoped you could solve the problem and make improvements.
It should be obvious «whether you treat people differently» once facts 2 and 3 are clear. ATTITUDE is the most important aspect of providing GOOD service.
It’s a shame that you tried to dodge your responsibilities, took assumptions as facts and distorted my words, which would be additional proof of your lack of communication, responsibility and professionalism. You should be sorry and you will be sorrier.

I was scared to get braces as an adult, but I was very satisfied with the way Dr. Bobby talked me through the pros/​cons of getting them. I decided to go with ceramic brackets for 14 months (for the top) and 20 months (for the bottom.)
He understood my concerns about wearing them for work events and other things and helped me get the top portions off early, so they weren’t as noticeable.
The staff is fantastic, and they were really great about being flexible when my work schedule conflicted with appointments.
Now I have beautiful teeth and it wasn’t anywhere near as painful as I thought.
I would highly recommend him for any adult looking to get braces a little later on in life.

Dr. Bobby Shemirani did a great job! I’m so happy with my teeth after getting my braces off! Great orthodontist and will refer to many other people who are looking for one.

I’m 25 and just now signed up for braces. 10 years of procrastination at its best. It’s not as expensive as I thought it was going to be and they seem to have payment plans here that make it affordable for everyone. Knowing that earlier would have led me to get them installed years ago and I would have been done by now.
After reading their materials and their guarantees it is clear that they are here to help people and do the best work possible. They do care about the quality of their work and that is what matters most to me.
My teeth had several issues and make them a bit more work then the average case but it didn’t seem like as issue here. I am pleased that I opted for the ceramic braces. I originally chose them simply because they were more expensive and I ball like that but many people are not aware I have them. It’s embarrassing as an adult to have braces so it is nice that this option makes them less noticeable.
I was referred here and have been pretty satisfied so far. They are a very efficient organization and they could explain the process better but all I care about are the results. I can annoy some with the amount of questions I ask and they have answered them to my satisfaction. I recognize that they are professionals with years of training so they do know better than I do. I have another 22 months to go on my treatment so this will probably be updated at some point.

Dr. Shemirani later talked to me about my experiences and we clarified some misunderstanding. I am satisfied that he is willing to listen and my questions are addressed right away. I have been to few more appointments now and there has been no issue at all.

I finished my treatment that took 22 months and now am wearing a retainer for my whole life and some removable retainers during bed time.
Before I went to Bobby, I consulted with many other dentists and found his confidence, knowledge and price are better overall than others. Many people asked me to do surgery and remove some teeth, and Bobby is one of two who said I don’t need those. Now I’m happy with my results. He corrected my open bite almost 100%, but not exactly. My cross bite gets a lot better, but not the best. Still, I’m satisfied overall.
In the beginning throughout the treatment, he was always impatient when i asked him questions. he did answer me, but he was walking away while answering. i felt he needs some more patience with adults. but he is very patient with kids. this is the only complaint i have. and also the reason why i deducted 1 star.
Nancy is the most amazing staff, very patient, skillful, and careful. I feel i’m safe under her hand. especially when i took off my braces, she did a great job and i gave her a small gift.
Sarah is not careful or skillful. She cut my lips to bleeding during one of my visits. it was very painful for me, but they only gave me a jumba juice gift card of $ 5??? I think I wasn’t respected and taken care of with the only $ 5 for compensating for the painful bleeding.

I just had my braces removed this morning and my teeth look FABULOUS! Thanks so much to Dr. Shemirani and his staff for all of their efforts to perfect my smile. Dr. Shemirani always took time to explain the process and answer my questions. Both he and his staff are extremely patient, courteous, and very friendly.

Bobby Sherimani did such a great job. Not only my braces were off two months earlier than planned, but also I got compliment by my dentist that my ortho was meticulous.
The staff were friendly and patient. Most patients are kids and teenagers. Though I am an adult.
I highly recommend this place if you are considering get braces. I chose this place after comparing 5 places… I think I made a wise decision!

I’ve been his patient for five years and I’ve couldn’t asked more. When I enter his office, he welcomes me with a smile, shakes my hand, and asks me how I’m doing. Rarely have I seen a more kind, and trustworthy person than Bobby. Great office and great attitude and comfort everyday.

Very very rude staff in this place. Figured out they follow their boss’s pattern to treat their patient in very rude and unfriendly manner. They treat you well only before you sign the contract. After that, they will change their face immediately and never give you a smile. So be really careful before you sign the contract. All kindness they show is just fake. They just want you to sign the contract and they know it is hard for you to change in the middle of procedure.

Professional and friendly! Dealing with braces is no fun, but Dr Shemirani and his staff make it as smooth as possible.

Dr. Bobby is great with kids. His staff is very friendly and helpful. He took the time to explain the process to my daughter, which made her extremely comfortable. Plus, fresh brewed Starbucks for me while I wait. If your kid needs an ortho… this is the place.

Dr. Bobby is very sweet and understanding, especially Felisa. Felisa is very understanding, professional, and responsive by e-​mail. Scheduling was pretty easy since they have a 8am and 5pm appointment slot for those who can’t coming during normal 9am-​5pm. Dr bobby is professional and funny. Another compliment I have are for the facilities– I found them to be very clean and welcoming. :) Thanks!

Couldn’t be any happier with my smile! Dr Shemirani is the best! Had my braces for 2 years and never once did I have a problem. Friendly and awesome staff as well! Really recommend!

Dr. Shemirani and his staff are the best. His staff are always very professional and pleasant to work with. My braces were removed in 8 months-​ahead of schedule and I am very pleased with the results.

Dr Bobby is an amazing orthodontist. He uses all the up to date technology. I had my braces for a year and just got them off now I love the results. Dr Bobby has an incredible personality, fantastic guy. Great staff as well. Highly recommend him.

Got my braces off today! I am so happy with the results, especially since my braces came off 6 months earlier than originally expected! I got my braces on about 2 years ago, and I had a lot of complications due to a missing tooth next to my front teeth. Dr. Shemirani handled my problem perfectly and in the quickest amount of time possible! Dr. Shemirani and his staff are wonderful and always so nice and personable whenever I go in.

Dr. Shemirani is a great orthodontist! I got my braces put on when I was 24 and had them on for a year. I was very self conscience about my teeth when I was younger but now I smile in all my pictures.
My little sister got her braces when she was 11 years old and is now 13 and still has them. She was unfortunate to have severely crowded teeth and a huge over bite. Dr. Shemirani does wonderful work, my sister’s teeth are beautiful but has to keep her braces on until her molars grow in fully.
The office is very clean and very friendly for children. The receptionist is Barb and she is great and friendly. She remembers my name even though I only go there once every few months.
Of courses braces are expensive but are worth it in the end. I suggest you go to Dr. Shemirani if you want a wonderful smile. I can’t wait to see my sister with out her braces!
