We also do Home Theater Installations. We mount TVs, speakers, and setup Remote Controls which make it easy for even Grandma to work the entertainment center.

Established in 1999.

We started out as an exclusively mobile on-​site computer repair helping customers at their home or business. We have grown EVERY year and now have a storefront in Fortvile next to Mozzi’s Pizza. Come visit and have some coffee!

My goal in starting Need-​A-​Nerd? was to be able to do what I love — fixing computers. I wanted my business to be different than the rest. I carry virtually a whole computer store in our cars! Hard drives, memory, printer ports, new and used PCs and laptops (no kidding)…we’ve got it all with us to get it done the first time. Other computer service companies I knew about would go to someone’s home or business, find out what’s wrong, and often have to make a trip to a store to get a part before coming back and fixing the problem. Not so with me I say. And add to it that we speak plain English and make it easy to understand the problem you’re having… it’s a winning combination
