I’ve been using Unity One since the 1980s, when they were the United Railway Credit Union. They have always bent over backwards for me. Even when I worked for a «big bank» for a period of time, I still maintained by Unity One account. Everyone in their branch locations has always bent over backward to help me out.

Absolutely the worst banking experience! I financed a boat with unity one and last December they mailed us an offer to skip a payment for Christmas. Well we accepted their offer and did not make the payment. We resumed normal payments in January. Fast forward to June, we go to refinance our home and find out unity one has reported us to credit bureau for lack of a payment. We attempted to work with unity one and they were unwilling to correct their mistake even though we provided all documents and payment history. Avoid this bank and their deceptive practices. At the end of the day, I don’t see how anyone wins from them reporting their customers to credit bureau on an solicitation offer they made. You would think they would have the integrity to call a customer regarding a payment ESPECIALLY if they know they have s skip a payment solicitation circulating.

I am a member of a credit union in WA state. Unity one is listed as a partner bank. I recently had a fundraiser to help raise money for Susan G. Komen 3 day race as we have to raise $ 2300. I had almost $ 40 in change and they would not count it or deposit it. They told me to go to coin star (which charges a fee) or B of A. I guess they really don’t support fundraisers or need my business if I’m suppose to go yo another bank. Needless to say, I won’t be going back!

Horrible management. Poor customer service! Old outdated ATM machines! Tellers on Saturday are very nice is that because bad management is not there? I cannot believe BNSF allows them to provide services and have CU branch on their campus!

UPDATE (2 hours after initial review): After filing a complaint and posting this review, Unity One finally did the right thing and refunded the charges. At least they did the right thing eventually.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Unity one charged me three insuffiencient funds charges for one authorized charge (a mistake). When I called, their representatives refused to remove two of the charges. I am closing my account, filing a complaint with the FCB, and letting people know how they treat their customers. I have had my account with them for 15 years.
