History
Established in 1897.
Trinity Terrace has been serving Fort Worth seniors for more than 100 years. Its origins can be traced back to 1897, when the Cumberland Rest (sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church) was organized to provide housing and care for older adults in the community. Over the next century, the Cumberland Rest moved locations several times, changed its name to Trinity Terrace, and grew in both size and scope. In 1995, Trinity Terrace became part of the Pacific Retirement Services family of affiliates, though it is still owned by Cumberland Rest, Inc. In 2008, Trinity Terrace completed a major expansion and renovation that added even more beautiful apartment homes and fine amenities to campus.
