Great option to travel to/​from FW to Dallas. It was a quiet experience and the train was clean. I’d recommend riding top deck so the scenery is more pleasurable. Tables are available for studying or working while utilizing the train. A must for everyone!

Fast and efficient way to get to Dallas. The train is on time just about everytime and if you’re there 1 min late then the train will be gone.
Great in the mornings and late afternoon due to 20 – 30 min departures but anytime outside those time frames the train comes every hour. Saved me lots of gas $$ traveling to Dallas M-​F

I remember flipping out with excitement when I lived in DFW and heard they were finally building a train to connect Fort Worth to Dallas and all the mid-​cities.
The trains are relatively clean and pretty modern /​up-​to-​date, and they travel at a decent speed (in general comparable to the BART).
Overall the TRE is a great addition to the DFW metroplex but their downside is definitely the waiting anywhere between 20 minutes to an HOUR per train issue. Build more tracks & trains!
If they improved in this area I believe they’d have a much higher approval rating.

They’re right on schedule!
From Dallas to Fort Worth there was a lot of nice and maybe not so nice scenery, but it’s all good.
I have to remember to bring my laptop next time I go, so I don’t get bored or anything. I believe they have free wifi on the train and there’s plug ins underneath the tables.
