The Modern Shop is one of my favorite places to shop, and definitely my favorite museum giftshops. They have really unique items that you just can’t find anywhere else. A lot of they’re products are hand-​made too, which I like a lot. I check their hand-​made jewelry periodically because they always have the most interesting things and a lot of it is really well priced. I found a pair of wooden painted ones the other day and they were 15 or 20 bucks. Not bad! They also have a great selection of kitchen and dining knickknacks, which is always surprising to me. I found the coolest wine gadgets there. I think a lot of people think they have to go into the museum to shop there, but you don’t. You can just walk right in.

A great place to shop when looking for something unique and different. Beautiful high end design items, but also fantastic sales that are great for last minute and low budget gifts. Not to mention it is located in such a beautiful building!
