This apartment is in a great location, but you don’t get your money’s worth. It’s also REALLY loud here from Wednesday-​Saturday night. You can hear the bar’s live-​karaōke and bands until 1 – 2 AM. It’s terrible studying conditions.
Don’t be surprised if you walk down the hall and you see trails of dog poop in your hallway, or a trail of oranges. They have trash service that’s an extra $ 25/​month, but sometimes they don’t pick up the trash (even though you leave it out during the «trash pick-​up hours»). The park that they have is terrible and smells bad, no wonder why dogs would rather poop in the hallway.
Management is horrible. They sent a notice about two weeks ago that they were going to change all of the washers and dryers to new ones in the units, which is great. But they fail to tell you when they’re going to be in your apartment. A day or two of notice in advance would be nice instead of two weeks. I had my clothes in the washer and dryer, went to go get some groceries, came back to find my wet clothes in my sink and my washer and dryer taken. It’s been two hours and they haven’t replaced my washer/dryer…Yea, they did warn us but it was two weeks in advance. They should’ve called or left a day-​before reminder.

Pros:
Best location in Fort Worth. Absolutely LOVE this area because of its walk-​ability. Of all the apartments and condos in the neighborhood, the Lofts is definitely the best location because it actually sits on top of the most popular shops and restaurants, which has a really unique feel to it.
Cons:
TERRIBLE service. Although the staff is generally pleasant, their knowledge and motivation to help you deal with issues is severely lacking, especially considering how much of a luxury apartment this is supposed to be.
Apartment amenities are subpar. The gym is ok (TVs have been broken for months), the internal parks regularly smell terrible, and the residents gates are continually broken and left open to the public.

The current staff at the lofts was very helpful. I am thinking about selling my house and renting an apartment in fort worth. The leasing agent Stephanie was very helpful in telling me their current prices and specials even though I didn’t have a specific move in date. She treated me like I was a costumer looking to move in immediately. If I do sell my house the lofts will be my first choice in fort worth.

I am a current resident and cannot believe the slowness of the staff for the price we pay. The treadmill machines are broke and the office staff states they are working on it. The hallways look like they are still under construction, no paint, art work, carpeting, just concrete. I hope they spend some money fixing up the place or I am out after my first lease. Look around before coming here.

The lady on the phone was slightly rude, while explaining that their monthly rates fluctuate daily. After specifying Im looking a one-​bedroom, she quoted $ 1193 for a 602 sq. ft.
Good luck filling in all those units, as appearantly Fort Worth is New York, now. Haha.

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars!!! It’s the worst place I’ve ever lived! I cannot wait to get out when my lease is up in a couple of months. Management sucks and they are all completely incompetent. I don’t care about the rent prices or occasional noise bc that’s what you get when you choose to live in such a location, but it’s everything else that makes this place unbearable. Why I HATE this place:
I’ve had HUGE roaches in my apt– I don’t leave food out and am very clean. It took management over a week to get pest people to come spray. I was about to hire my own.
There’s dog feces and urine all over the hallways and it’s never picked up outside by owners. I have a dog and have understanding for doggy accidents, but management has done nothing to discipline the owners who leave their dog’s biological wastes to rot in the common areas.
The pool is a joke and is always filled with wild, obnoxious drunken idiots. I thought I graduated from college??? It’s right outside the office so you would THINK management could step out and try to control some of the debauchery in regards for their other residents… Nope.
You are forced to pay $ 20 extra a month for «Valet trash service.» The trash shoot is literally five steps from my front door. I never utilize this «trash service.»
My car was towed from the garage bc «I didn’t park behind the resident gate.» I’m sorry– I live here and was unloading groceries on the level I live on… It was a Monday morning when my car was towed. I was not parked «outside of the resident gate» overnight OR on w busy weekend. $ 300 dollars later, I got my car back and the office couldn’t reimburse me bc «those are the rules.» Having my car towed from my own place of residence was definitely the last straw!
Save yourself your money and sanity and DON’T live here!!!

I am a current resident. I have read through the previous reviews and I must say they are spot on.
First off, they are way over priced.
Secondly, the dog park is always disgusting and smells horrible.
Third, the front office staff is a joke. They are very unprofessional. For instance, I talked to one of the front office girls, she could not stop eating while I explained to her my concerns. She obviously wasn’t listening either because I told there were bees on the awning outside my balcony, maintenance showed up to «kill the bees in my bedroom.» Way off. I still have the bee problem by the way.
Number four, the gate that is supposed to be locked unless you have a key to let you in is broke. I moved here because of how safe I felt being here. It’s been broke since June. So anyone can walk in and get on the elevator.
Five, when the front office says they are working on your complaint, they aren’t. They’re just telling you that to make you be quiet and go away. When you call and ask for a manager, they just hand the phone to next front office lady. So therefore, nothing will ever get done with your complaint.
Six, my kitchen sink smells horrible and my bathroom sink drains so incredibly slow.
Seven, the «valet trash» that they make you pay for is never picked up on time.
I have never complained before, especially on social media. However, I felt like I needed to share my experience with anyone who is thinking about moving to the area. It is conveniently located. That’s about it. If you’re okay with a restaurant underneath you burning a fire pit from 8am-​9pm making it to where you cannot open your balcony door because your house (couch, pillows, blankets, etc.) begin to smell like smoke, then this is the place for you. If you like to open your door and enjoy fresh air then I suggest moving somewhere else. That’s just another complaint that has not been resolved, although I’ve been told multiple times it has been.

The only good thing about this place is the location.
My apartment has has reeked of sewage and sulfur for months and is at times uninhabitable. After many requests to remedy the situation management has still done nothing. There are much better options in the area.

If you value your money look for better buys than the Lofts at West 7^th.
They are square box style apartments.
Pro:
They are awesome for taking your dog out because they have dog friendly areas that are easy to access.
Con: Other dog owners who don’t pick up their crap or because the Lofts have not refilled the doggy bags. They didn’t fill it for a week once
Pro: The area is amazing. I love being able to go to the bars and resturants in the area.
Con: My apartment’s rent is an honest 300 dollars over priced for what I get. Guys for 300 a month TAKE A TAXI or drive.
Pro: The weight room is a bit better than most other places
Con: I’m being generous with my «bit»
Pro: I think that Shay is the only intelligent individual there. Everyone else will not work with you or know as much about the property in my opinion. I know others might not agree but thats my experience.
Con: That equals one person
Pro: I’m out of them
Con: 60 day notice to move which they WILL not tell you about up front or send you an email. They will simply stick a letter in your door which I did not recieve probably because my ex trashed it. Either way, a letter in the door is a poor excuse.
Pro: That are good about sticking paper in your door.
Con: Their appliances break all the time! My door lock wouldn’t turn, frig wouldn’t work (the water and ice depenser), my sink faucet fell off. It took them normally a day to fix the sink and well the garbage disposal (that was broken when I moved in and broke again). The frig door took 3 weeks and my DOOR took about a week. Unacceptable.
Pro: Shay looks good?
Con: When you have an issue expect the staff not to really g.a.s. (Give A… S)
Look, bottom line. If you believe that you area an intelligent renter that bases everything off of facts vs raw emotion when renting an apartment you will pick a better place than the lofts. Sure the area is awesome. That’s why God invented man who invented UBER and LYFT.
There is NO value in renting. You throw your money away into an intangable asset. You don’t own anything.
Please be resposible when renting.

I’m a current resident here and this is an honest review of this place and my personal experiences here
Pros:
–I’m a medical student and school is 5 – 7 minutes away driving which is nice and the main reason I chose to move here.
–it is nice to have restaurants and stores within walking distance
–their gym is nice
Cons:
–Extremely overpriced, and they will nickel and dime you for EVERY little thing
–You are charged a $ 20 fee every month for «VIP» trash service where you place your trash outside your door from 5 – 8 and someone picks it up. I walk past the trash chute everyday which is 10 steps from my apt and was told I cannot opt out of this.
–storage units are $ 20 – 60 and trust me you’ll most likely need one as the apartments are tiny. They will most likely not have one available on your floor
–they have parking gates for patrons so if you have guests over you have to validate their ticket every time.
–they will charge you for an application fee $ 150, and a huge deposit (mine was 1,300+)
–I’m a student and it’s extremely frustrating to study at every night with obnoxious music blaring from all the different bars around
–They also charge you to rent a washer and dryer for $ 40/​month
–There’s a 90 dollar per day late fee if you’re late on rent even if it was THEIR fault for not having it posted online.
–the pool sucks.
–cars have been broken into here
–The girls at the front desk are all really fake, and not very bright. They never, ever just get things right the first time around and it’s extremely frustrating and I dread having to deal with them.
–my bath tub is super slow to drain. I put in a maintenance request. Hopefully they’ll get around to it by next month… if I’m lucky.
–They lose people’s packages at the front desk
I was in a hurry to find a place and didn’t bother looking around too much but trust me there are wayyy better places to live in this area without having to deal with all this. I cannot wait to move out in a few months when my lease is up. I just wanted to write this informative review so people stay away and don’t make the same mistake I did.

Firstly these are not Lofts. They are regular apartments that are hugely over priced. When we first moved here it was ok, but now they rent to mostly students or recent grads so the place is like a huge Frat House. Consequently the place is disgusting. We have had a car stolen, my motorcycle trashed by someone trying to steal it. Dogs pee in the hallways and it takes forever to be cleaned up. People vomit in the elevators and it takes a week for maintenance to clean it up. The office staff are nice and seem genuine but basically they are ineffectual. Overall I can’t wait to leave this place. I would recommend living in a cardboard box next to the freeway before I would recommend living here.
