Shady Oak Learning is located in the beautiful Fairmount district which allows our teachers and diverse student population to experience outdoor learning, hands-​on activities, and extra-​curricular activities such as art and music.

History

Established in 2010.

We invite you to get to know the heart of this remarkable community. The heart of the Shady Oak experience is the relationship between inspiring, caring teachers and talented, motivated, and engaged students. You will find that the neighborhood feel, small classroom sizes, and excellent communication between staff and parents fosters a real community that supports the quality of education that students receive at Shady Oak.

The founder and Executive Director of Shady Oak, Pam Jarvis, has a desire to help ALL students realize their true potential. She brings her extensive experience in private school settings, home-​schooling, and public education to create a hands-​on learning environment that is active, challenging, and engaging.

At Shady Oak Learning, students are more than prepared, their excited to learn.

Meet the Business Owner

Pam J.

Business Owner

Pam Jarvis is passionate about learning and teaching. Her passion has continued on to inspire her five children and eleven grandchildren.

In her six years as a special education teacher for the Fort Worth ISD, Pam helped students with attention deficit disorder, dyslexia, learning disabilities and autism succeed in the general education classroom.

Pam received her BS in Speech Therapy from West Texas A&M University in and her M. Ed in Special Education.
