NeurOptimal Neurofeedback is a passive form of brain training. It has been described as the lazy persons meditation. NeurOptimal is not a medical treatment or cure for any disease, it is a method of effortless stress relief. When stress is relieved, many side effects of stress are resolved and people typically feel more energized, focused, productive and joyful. NeurOptimal does not push the brain towards an average norm like QEEG guided Neurofeedback, instead, it merely provides feedback which each brain uses to make its own adjustments. Its like giving the brain a mirror. During a 45 minute session, the trainee reclines in a zero gravity chair and listens to music. 2 sensors placed on the scalp send info on brain activity to the computer, when turbulence in any frequency of brain activity is detected, feedback is provided via interruptions in the music. Most people find the training very relaxing. We offer simultaneous parent child or sibling sessions too. We also offer Rental systems for home training.
History
Established in 2012.
After observing the profound benefits derived from her daughter’s Neurofeedback training, business owner Nikki. S. Decided she wanted to try it out for herself. Training was out of reach due to cost and the distance to the nearest trainer so she decided to become a certified trainer and invest in the equipment in order to provide this incredible training to others in the Granbury and Fort Worth areas. In 2013, the business was incorporated and the the Fort Worth office was opened in addition to the Granbury location. In 2014, the business expanded again to include 2 systems at the Fort Worth location in order to allow for convenient simultaneous training for parent/child, siblings or friends. In 2014, we also expanded to begin offering our services to businesses and organizations as a wellness benefit for employees (with the business ROI of healthier and more productive employees).
