History

Established in 2014.

In 2007, Ridglea School of Music owner Eric Bourassa was just getting started as a guitar teacher at what was then Ridglea Music in Fort Worth. After Ridglea Music closed its doors for the final time in 2011, Eric started teaching his students from his home.

As word spread and reputation grew, the guitar lessons program grew to the point that there were regularly 5 – 7 cars parked outside of Eric’s home any given evening. Additionally, Eric and his wife, Reagan, had their third child in 2014, so it was time to take the business out of the house.

The Ridglea School of Music officially opened in April of 2014 and began offering piano, violin, and drums lessons.

The school currently serves well over 100 students a week and continues to grow. Former students have gone on to study at Berklee College of Music and Belmont University to earn music degrees.

Eric owns and operates the school currently and teaches alongside 3 other instructors.
