The Resort for Pets is a custom designed facility where your pets can relax while you are away from home, giving you the chance to take a break, worry free, knowing that our caring staff will be looking after them.

We are proud of the resort and encourage you to come visit, tour our facilities and meet our team members before you consider sending your precious companions anywhere else.

We have tours available anytime during our open hours!

History

Established in 2007.

We are committed to offering first-​class boarding services that your pet will bask in and that will exceed your expectations.

We came under new ownership in 2012 and have been growing ever since!

Meet the Manager

Manager

I have been managing the Resort for Pets since March of 2010, and it has been an adventure! I have worked with animals since 2003 — most of that time was spent working in zoos. In my previous jobs at the Zoo and Big Cat Sanctuary, I looked after lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!) as well as smaller farm animals. While working with your pets at the Resort is much different than working with large carnivores, I feel that this helps me be able to handle any situation that may be thrown at us!

My favorite part of my job at the Resort is helping clients and getting to know the personality of each guest that stays with us here. Getting to know the animals helps them to feel right at home and they become part of our family. I also love the team of people I get to work with — they all truly love animals and we pitch in to make sure our guests are comfortable, safe and loved the whole time they are here!
