In 1999, after several years of handling the procurement and sourcing for Crescent Real Estate Equities hotel and resort properties, Mike Williams and Richard Michael determined the need for a more hands-​on approach to hospitality procurement. Purchasing Solutions International was incorporated as a Texas S-​Corporation and the team began working with Crescent and other clients to develop a comprehensive procurement program to satisfy the demands and needs of high-​end hotels and resort developments and renovations.
