For Military and DoD travelers: I have stayed here several times in the past few years. Even though I was never stationed here during my career, I always feel welcomed here as if I were a long-time resident returning. Maybe it’s because the Navy still runs the lodging and they actually pay attention to pay grades, unlike the civilian atmosphere at Army and Air Force installations I have visited recently. My room was prepared and waiting for me when I arrived. Everything was perfect. The only detractor was the intimate size of the shower stall. Other than that, the room suited me well. Current rates are $ 25 per bed — multiple bed rooms, $ 50 private room — shared bath, $ 60 suite and family-suite, $ 70 distinguished visitor suite. A helpful hint for those on a budget — when you call for reservations, they tend to book you into a room according to your pay grade. On multiple occasions, I have been able to change my accommodations at the check-in to a lesser room, saving funds for use in other venues. 1−800-NAVY-BED
